uh no. Jacobs hasnt been the same back then when he was running mufuckas over. He will be in redzone type packages but he will not pass up hunter in the depth chart. Jacobs and Dixon will be battling it out for the 3rd spot.

jacobs signing is not very pleasing he hasnt been a hard hitting back in a while. why else would you bring in a slow big back other than to punch holes in short yardage situations but all Jacobs has hit hard in the last few years is his gums. maybe its to light a fire under dixon to quit dancing in the back field we shall see but i dont think this is that great of a signing.

^^ i agree dixon needs to quit slippin over himself and hit those damn holes, and where there isnt any his bigg ass needs to make some, I have a feeling he's gonna be in limbo between roster and practice squad, I suppose depth wont hurt if gore gets injured as he is prone to doing.

You guys are thinking too much. Only reason we signed him was to have him, Dixon an possibly a drafted rookie fight it out for that 3rd rb spot. If he wins his job then this signing is good but he's going to have to earn it. Baalke is putting in work!!! Can you imagine if he has another solid draft like last years? NFL better watch out!

All Deuce has to do is drop a few pounds and he'll be good to go..


All I can say is that Alex Smith has no excuses now..He has a tremendous receiving team and if he keeps on failing on 3rd down conversions, they should just give the job to Tolzien or Johnson ...guys that can actually get the job done ..

We need to cut a RB asap and add a back up full back, also need to address the right guard position. We lack legit depth on the O-line, Secondary, and LB position. Though if somehow all that got fixed we be like a perfect squad so i can't get to picky. Props to Jed York, Baalke, and Harbaugh they know how to build a team.
