Rogers should just get a 3 year guaranteed contract tops, they can make anything after that optional if he wants to demand a long term deal. After another full year, Culliver will be ready with Brock right behind him as the nickel back.

They should just franchise Goldson and get it over with, he showed last offseason he wants that huge contract which he hasn't shown he deserves. This year was more about the front 7 putting alot more pressure on QB's than past years and he just took those opportunities given to him. He's still a shitty ass tackler, I cringed all year when a RB or WR was in open space with Goldson...that fool just dives at players hoping that he will knock them down, never wraps up for shit.

goldson right now has all the leverage he needs, well not this season since he's going to get franchised but in order for the 49ers to call his bluff we would have to have a serviceable back up for him. Reggie Smith and Williams are fucken trash! every time those two bums hopped on the field i knew for a fact we were giving up a first down. I do agree with you though, goldson has shown he takes a lot of chances. Most of the time his risk taking pays off imo but when it doesn't he gets burned bad.
