SO IM HEARING ON THE RADIO ALEX SMITH IS COMING BACK NEXT SEASON? I TOLD YALL

Where did yo hear this?

Its definitely not true.

As far as Nate Davis goes, sure he had some upside...but way more downside. The guy didn't put in any work behind the scenes. Jason Whitlock wrote a good piece on him, basically saying that he was unaware and unwilling to put fourth the work necessary to be a starting QB in the NFL.

I could care less about Nate Davis. If the people who work with the guy day in and day out won't vouch for him, I think they have a much better perspective of him than any of us, who only got to see him play for a few minutes.

From what I've gather from Maicco .... he said the 49ers are not working on anything with Ass Smith and he'll be let go..

Baalke also said on radio that the 49ers don't have the QB for the next season and they'll be shopping for a QB that can execute with the WCO...

damn im tired of our secondary, i had hoped that goldston woulda produced better, and I really didnt like the way they handled the Lewis situation, that adams and brock or somthin looked promising in preseason, but i think injuries kept them out, nate is always gettin beat, he doesnt deserve "shut down corner" money

49ers, Harbaugh hire Stanford assistant Roman to be offensive coordinator

Former Stanford assistant Greg Roman has joined the 49ers as their offensive coordinator, according to a source.

Roman served as Stanford's associate head coach and was as responsible as anyone -- including head coach Jim Harbaugh -- for the Cardinal's offensive success and creativity.

Roman has extensive NFL experience, having been an assistant for Carolina, Houston and Baltimore.

He was a finalist for the Stanford head coaching position that went to David Shaw.
