I would LOVE Holmgren as our coach. The team is in place so all he would have to do is implement his system and coach these motherfuckers up. We'd finally have a a coach with homegrown roots and a connection to our glorious past.

I bet Holmgren would come back if he knew he could get a top QB prospect next season.

I like the idea of Holmgren coaching but I have to wonder how much power he will want. We all know he is a horrible GM, he does have an eye for spotting QB's though.

Shit bring them both back! Gruden as the HC and Holgrem as the OC. BRING IT BACK FOR BILL WALSH! Dam I would nut in my pants if that happened but only in our dreams. The Yorks need to GTFOH!

I doubt Holmgren would agree to be the OC

if he comes back to coaching he's gonna be a head coach, at least I think he would

I was browsing through channels earlier and saw Mike Johnson(your OC I think) talking. He sounds like a soft version of Singletary. You guys need to bring in an entirely new coaching staff. I have this wierd feeling you guys are going to luck out and get Gruden.

As much as I think Holmgren would love to be the hometown hero, I doubt he'll leave what he's building out in Cleveland. Plus it's pretty much certain Gruden (Ohio guy) is gonna be HC under Holmgren at GM.

The only reason I would want Holmgren would be to instill the West Coast Offense philosophy into a young coach and continue the 49er Legacy. Plus Holmgren is getting pretty old.
