even in the game against Minnesota when everyone was getting excited about him... his stats were not that good

he made some sick throws... I'll give him that... but you can't consider a guy to be a starter for your team if he puts up mediocre to horrible numbers against scrubs

of course he is playing with his scrub offense... but still...

I'm not saying they should necessarily cut him, but no way should he start

I just remember Niners fans saying Nate Davis was better than any QB on our roster... lmfao... EVERY QB on our roster is better than Davis (edit: it was that man above me who made such a ludicrous comment)

just got home from the game

i was drunk as hell but i think Byham had 4 dropped passes, 1 turned into a int, the other int was on the deep ball to jurovich? not really nates fault either, jurovich took a bad angle

and hill stopped his route also and the ball was almost picked. Can't blame Davis for that and def shouldn't be cut seeing as he has not even taken 1 snap in the regular season before.

He has the best arm strength out of all our QB's I like the way he zips the ball in on slant patterns, this guy needs a chance before he is cut.

lol, bro I'm not saying he can't be a good player in the future, I'm not judging him off one preseason game

but you guys have been judging him off nothing but preseason games, and you guys have think he's good enough to be a starter in the NFL based on that

and I never even said he wasn't gonna be good... I just asked what you guys thought, and pointed out that he was having a horrible game

again, I'm not talking shit, or clowning or saying Nate Davis sucks... just asking your guys opinion... that's all
he is good enough to be a starter, but he isnt ready in our system yet. i think he needs 1 more year, he is still only a sophomore. before guys like matt ryan and flacco, qb's usually got 3 years to be evaluated.

unfortunately if he is cut, its probably due to his effort in the offseason since SING seemed pretty erked about that. and nate himself was quoted that he only knew 2/3's of the playbook. maybe he doesnt like Rayes system? i dunno, but the kid has the ability to be a winning starter. its just a matter of time and where.

the weird part would be cutting a guy for a guy that didnt attempt a pass in pre season, and didnt have a full college career as good as half of nate davis's mvp season.

i wanted to see more jarrett brown tonight, not 6 hand offs to a fullback.

if we do cut him, jarrett brown better be a good answer why.

I didn't catch alot of the game but I did notice the O-line was horrible and Nate wasn't really getting much protection. All I know is that I hope there isn't lockout because that game was so sloppy. Yes I know they're mostly scrubs but it was....they sucked balls, lol.

Jesus Christ, Nate Davis is not the future!!!!

You cant cut Hill, Carr blackballed him

Bynam wasnt drafted to catch passes

Id like to see Boone stay on the roster, droppin 35 pounds in two weeks is impressive

Josh Morgan is gonna be a great number 2

Taylor Mays is gonna be a beast, we may not see it till next year but he has been gettin hella praise from everyone on the coaching staff and team

We may be the deepest team at linebacker in the league

Goodbye Michael Robinson, Paymah, and Jason Hill.

M.Rob was our Special Teams star, but sucks as a RB...

Jason Hill: Its not enough to be from the City where you're playing...you actually have to catch the ball too.
