that shot to ginn was just like one of his throws in last years preseason there is no denying this kid has an arm hopefully he can make progress on the nmental side of things to be the ball player he needs to be

Did anyone notice Anthony Davis getting beat so much during the game? Hopefully he can learn from it and get better...I think they said last week they left him out there without any help from Rachal to see how he would react. The Vikings have one of the best if not the best front 4 in the league so hopefully he's gonna hit the film room and improve.

wasnt jared allen the guy beating him? that happens to nearly every guy allen lines up against.

and if it wasnt allen then it was ray edwards, another great end.

right tackle isnt easy, especially for a rookie. he will have his ups and downs and this is good for pre season.

The problem with Nate is that he hasn't learned the system..

once he does he'll get a shot...I think the kid got it in him..

but him not wanting to learn the system might be his problem...

the 49ers will do good with Smith though, he seem good in the pocket and had enough protection from what I seen..


Anthony Davis needs more work though...is he ready? not really, but give him a little more time and he should be...

now Iupati ...he's doing his job...I'm glad he'll be a starter....

can't wait for the regular season tho...

THE THING THAT IS KILLING DAVIS ON THE LINE IS HIS FIRST STEP ONCE HE GETS THAT CORRECT WE WILL BE FINE IN THE PASS RUSH

Nate's biggest problem is awareness of the first down when its 3rd down. there was a 3rd down he ran for it and fell 1 yard shy, SING was unhappy with that.

another play it was 3rd and 4 and he threw that bomb to jason hill.

but thats just by watching him play in games, we dont see all the off the field stuff and practice.

i question his ability to win. i'd love for him to pull thru it, but im doubtful he has it in him.

last year he went 5-5, but i'd say HE only won 1 of those games. the other wins were gore + defense.

ill give him 1 more chance this year, and hopefully its his last chance from the team too.

I think he's ready to shine a bit tho...

he does seem more comfortable in the pocket ... we'll see how he does in his 1st regular season game...I will base all my opinions about him from there because he'll be playing mostly starters....

ALL I SEEN FROM ALEX SMITH WAS A BUNCH OF SHORT DUMPS TO PLAYERS RUNNING 3 YARD OUTS AND 1 COMPLETION TO DELANIE WALKER DOWN THE FIELD, NOT IMPRESSIVE, NOW THEY GONNA SAY THERES HOPE AND HES THE GUY THEN HE WILL STRUGGLE FOR A COUPLE GAMES AND THEN HAVE A GOOD GAME AND THE SAME CYCLE WILL KEEP REPEATING
