jefferson is no longer with us and when he was vick threw for 2900+ yards in his first season, and finneran is on ir. ISNT IT FUNNY HOW VICKS COMPLETION RATE WAS OVER 60 TODAY EVEN WITH THE DROPS!! 4 MORE EASY DROPS TODAY, ONE ENDED UP AN INT. dude can pass he just needs a chance and receivers with hands. roddy white dropped the first pass of the game. AGAIN. that dude has got to go.
i must give knapp props he changed the gameplan today and wasnt nearly as predictable as usual. giving vick 30+ opportunities to throw really helped out. vick didnt play any better than he usually does, the pieces around him actually played today!!! if we can keep this up we'll be very hard to beat this year.

what? the passing game? it was the same as now. no pass protection, shitty wrs, and predictable playcalling. we won on defense and running game. thats it. but when teams key in on the run game and force the pass the fact still remains. A QB NEEDS TIME TO THROW AND RECEIVERS WHO CAN CATCH. alex gibbs run blocking scheme is not getting vick the protection he needs. look at our o-line. SMALLEST IN THE LEAGUE. they do an excellent job in the run game, but when its time to pass they are porous. when the most elusive PLAYER in the nfl is getting sacked 7 times in one game it kinda makes you wonder.
hate to say it but i told ya so'!!! i hit every nail on the head. the wrs started catching, oline protected like theyre paid to and greg knapp actually called pass plays on downs other than 3rd!!! dont tell me vick woke up the other day and learned how to be an accurate passer!!! i waited 2 weeks to rub it in so you couldnt say "lets see him do it twice in a row"
