was this guy as bad in s.f. as he is in atlanta? i see why t.o. blew up at him on the sidelines. this dudes playcalling is a fucking joke. so predictable. him and mora are such good friends that mora wont do the right thing and get rid of his ass. we need to pull a baltimore and on top of that get a god damn receiver that can catch. oh wait we have one in lelie but knapp has him on the fuckking bench and starts our 2 major first round busts. i almost think the whole coaching staff should go but ........ this is atlanta, typical mediocrity. b.s.

Nope, it's just the talent he's surrounded with. If you don't have a quarter back that can THROW accurately, then you're better off without Knapp. If you have one that can throw accurately, he's the man good for play calling.

watch a game before you criticize vick. white jenkins and crumpler have dropped 7 touchdown passes this year. not passes. TOUCHDOWN PASSES. if you add the drops to vicks totals he would be throwing over 65 percent this year. dont believe me go check the stats!!! vick is doing well finally. look at the top 40 receivers in the league. WE DONT HAVE ONE OF THEM!!! WHY DID VICK THROW FOR NEARLY 3000 YARDS THE SEASON BEFORE KNAPP GOT HERE?? THAT WAS HIS FIRST FUCKING SEASON!!!! you ask any football analyst who has watched atlantas games this year and they will tell you vick is NOT THE PROBLEM.

I have watched games, maybe the fact that Gregg knapp has called plays for Rice, Young, Garcia and Owens and so on maybe blinds me. I agree, Gregg knap, would only look good if Vick had a GREAT WR Moss, and it wouldn't take much to get him, maybe Round 1-2 draft pick SERIOUSLY!!!!

i have been an advocate for moss. when minnesota was shopping him he was practically begging to come to atlanta. same with t.o. you think they would want to come to atlanta if vick was as bad as some so called "experts" say??? they know hes better than he gets credit for and they see that vick has never NEVER had a number 1 receiver before. peerless price was never a number 1, he was only good in buffalo because moulds was drawing double teams constantly. if our coaching staff went after moss or t.o. it would be admitting their shoddy record of drafting wr's. jenkins and white are absolute busts and sitting them would hurt the staffs pride. the reason we didnt sign moss??? because he didnt pass the "falcon filter"

they cant seriously think moss is a worse cancer than butterfinger wrs. we all know vick isnt the best qb in the league but hes not the worst either. why would you give him anything less than the best possible wrs. i wouldnt even be mad if we got rid of him so he could go to a team that will put him in a system that works. they are ruining his career with garbage experiments at wr and it pisses me off. especially since i was pissed at them for drafting him. i hate "mobile scrambling" qbs but after seeing vick play he changed my mind. he is MUCH better than the stats show. sad sad day. i miss andre rison......

matter of fact we get a 1st and a 3rd round draft pick from whoever gets schaub this year and i would definitely do that for moss but i think our cap situation would prohibit any moves. front office should have got him in the first place but noooooo we need goody two shoe faggots on our team obviously. good citizens are more important than good players i guess. the funny thing is one of our starting o linemen got busted for roids today. so much for the filter.

I recall everyone saying Vick was gonna be "the future of QBs" and the best QB in the league.. That was 2 years ago. Now two years later everyone is starting to realize he is not, and never will be, as good as they thought he could be. His throws are inaccurate, I don't care about his completion percentage because a lot of it is a bunch of throws to his checkdown receivers. Anybody can do that. And the fact that he's never had a great receiver to throw to doesn't matter because the fool would rather run the ball than pass it anyway. Recently he stopped taking off so much and look what he's become. He's had decent receivers around him, and a good QB can make players like that more than just decent. Vick got too much credit a few years back, now his fans think he's not getting enough credit.. I don't think he's absolutely awful, but he is definately not a good QB.

could you imagine a deep threat reciever like moss or owens there? their running game would be refuckingdiculous! 300 yard rushing games would be a thing of the past, they'd be at 4 or 500 with the way a deep threat opens up the field. vick is a rushing qb, when they tried to make him a pocket passer that was just dumb. a good deep threat would make atl have the one of the most explosive offenses in football that we've seen in the last decade IMO.

decent receivers? youre a fucking joke. go watch a game before you speak. i wouldnt speak on the niners or raiders unless i watched their games. michael jenkins and roddy white are busts. look at the td jenkins dropped! vick threw the ball 70 yards, caught him in stride with a couple feet of separation and dropped it. right thru his hands! not once but all season. again why did vick throw for almost 3000 yards his first season as a starter???? with no "proven" receiver. our receivers jenkins and white are busts period. vick came out of college with the highest completion rate in the country. thats not hitting check down receivers. so all of a sudden hes a shitty passer? i dont think so. put moss or t.o. on the field with vick and this running game and the offense doesnt get stopped. period even with our shitbag o-line. he's never had a decent receiver. period. lelie should be our starter but hes on the bench as our 3rd stringer. GIVE ME A BREAK KNAPP AND MORA!!! thats just shitty coaching.

http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=6412633383578839707&hl=en

eli was garbage until our whole d line was injured. abraham coleman and kerney went down injured in the second half. vick did nothing to lose this game but if you watch sportscenter and look at the stats you would think that. far from it. eli is inaccurate but hes paytons little bro so the glass is half full for him. he isnt much better a passer than vick if even at all. he has amani toomer and 6 5 burress catching jump balls

watch the video and tell me what you think of vicks pass protection. looks alot like peyton and bradys worst days huh. this is every game for the falcons. our offensive line is like a fucking turnstyle at a subway station

vicks only interception was guess what? a tipped catchable pass to roddy white. granted that was a bad throw it hit his hands. t.o. moss harrison catch that pass sorry. hell shockey makes that same catch with 4 minutes left in the 3rd quarter.

jenkins td drop? thats a fuckin joke. show me another qb in the league that can do what vick did on that play! show me a wr that doesnt make that catch.

where is this pocket you see vick to stand in? are you imagining things?? start of the 3rd quarter dunns td should have put us at at least 24-3 if not 28 to 3.

if you watch the video you see vick get an average of 3 full seconds to throw....WHEN ITS PLAYING IN SLOW MOTION

I STILL CANT BELIEVE YOU SAY HE HAS "DECENT" RECEIVERS BEHIND HIM!!!! OUR COACHES DONT MAKE ANY ADJUSTMENTS WHATSOEVER.

this is not only footage of the giants game its every game. no line, no receivers, manning would die a rotten perennial losing death if he played in atlanta.

Normally I'd go ahead and debate it, but you seem to be all over Vick's herpe infected dick so I'll just dismiss it all.

"Watch a game before you speak." Yeah, I guess nobody watches but you. You're right.

If you think Vick is a good QB..

what? the passing game? it was the same as now. no pass protection, shitty wrs, and predictable playcalling. we won on defense and running game. thats it. but when teams key in on the run game and force the pass the fact still remains. A QB NEEDS TIME TO THROW AND RECEIVERS WHO CAN CATCH. alex gibbs run blocking scheme is not getting vick the protection he needs. look at our o-line. SMALLEST IN THE LEAGUE. they do an excellent job in the run game, but when its time to pass they are porous. when the most elusive PLAYER in the nfl is getting sacked 7 times in one game it kinda makes you wonder.

wow look at this....

By Mark Bradley | Thursday, October 19, 2006, 09:53 AM

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution

It hasn’t been the best week — or month, or year — for Greg Knapp. His offense has managed seven touchdowns in five games. His passing offense is statistically the NFL’s worst. (His rushing offense, by way of contrast, is the league’s best, but somehow we never give him credit for that, believing it to be more a function of Alex Gibbs and his cut-blocking.)

The receivers can’t catch. The quarterback, who was a good enough passer under the previous regime, can’t throw. And surely the Falcons’ high-profile owner is beginning to wonder why all this high-falutin’ talent — Pro Bowl quarterback, Pro Bowl running back, Pro Bowl tight end, three wide receivers who were No. 1 picks — is availing his franchise so little.

And if that wasn’t enough, the Arizona Cardinals and the Baltimore Ravens set a dangerous dual precedent this week. (Dangerous if you’re Knapp.) They fired their offensive coordinators not halfway into the season.

Could something similarly sudden happen here? I wouldn’t have thought so a month ago, but I wouldn’t rule it out today. Arthur Blank didn’t buy all this talent to watch it go three-and-out.

Didn't Atlanta blame Vick's poor season on the QB coach? They fired him, He has no "good" recievers was the call with when Price was brought in. I think Atlanta is starting to see reality, which is why they dont really want to part with Schaub and brought in a coach who is familiar with him to coach QBs.

They key to vick is to limit his running, by fucking him up and make him not want to run due to getting hit so much and force him to pass which he's not so good at. Folks with see the truth if he ever gets a knee injury and his mobility is taken away.

how do you figure. again if you add the easy drops this year, not even all of them, just the easy ones vicks completion pct. is above 60. how do you explain that? peyton manning would look like ryan leaf in atlanta.. peerless price is where now????

BACK IN BUFFALO AS A NUMBER 2 RECEIVER. THANK YOU. now name me a good receiver vick has ever had to throw to. dont say peerless thats a fucking joke.

49ers | Owens Points Fingers At O-Line, Play Calling - from www.KFFL.com
Tue, 23 Sep 2003 14:36:12 -0700

Matt Maiocco, of the Santa Rosa Press Democrat, reports San Francisco 49ers WR Terrell Owens pointed fingers at the 49ers offensive line for not supplying the protection that QB Jeff Garcia needed to get him the ball in the Sunday, Sept. 21, game against the Cleveland Browns. He also blamed offensive coordinator Greg Knapp for not calling enough plays to get him the ball when the 49ers moved inside Browns territory.
