Interesting word isnt it? Apparantly(?) a lot of other people think so too. But the question here is....

Who is "allowed" to say the "N" word and who is not?:confused:

Who/What races if any get passes?:confused:

Who "gets" passes?:confused:

Does it really mean anything if the other party(non negro) grew up "on the block" with you and the other homies?:ermm:

Some races are gonna say it whether they heard it in a song or not 'cause "everyone else is doing it." I've got a homie that says "nigga" all the time. I've known dude pretty much my whole life. I suppose you can say I give him a pass. Does that make it right? No, but I'm at the point where try not to let certain things bother me.

Me personally, I've never used the word, whether it was toward my own race or another race. I've never had any reason to. All words have some type of meaning or conotation attached to it. If you're sayin' it just to say it, you heard it in a song, or because everyone else is, thats stupid.

I remember once in junior high, I was walkin' down the hall and this white girl said "What up nigga". I just looked at her. Didn't say shit, just glared at her. I swear this bitch was scared shitless.

That word is thrown around like rocks in Palestine in The Bay. When I first heard someone who wasnt black say "Nigga" all natural and shit. I was like, wtf? That was when I first moved up here from So Cal. Doesnt really bother me though anymore, I really dont care who says it now.

I hate when people use the word when there aren't any black people around, but as soon as a black person shows up they're like OMG OMG I gotta watch what i say.

I have friends who are black who don't even use the word unless they're joking around or get caught up in their WTF moments.

I think Dave Chappelle realized how bad the word was spreading and how common place it started becoming. The whole meaning behind it has lost it's negative aspect but kids nowadays don't realize that shit. I know some dumbass people who still say NIGGER when they or someone else does dumb shit. I'm like chill.

i never use the word unless im tellin a story where someone else used it, even though i got a pass to use it, its just not something that seems appropriate for me to say, even if i was black i doubt i would use it. my black homie only uses it when he is drunk and i give him a cig, or another shot and he will say "my nigga". imho its just a played out word.

Nigga and Nigger hold two totally different meanings in my play book. And the latter would equate to fag or homo.

For those that dont know, those DO have two(2) different meanings.

"Nigga" is on some homie type shit.

"Nigger" is degrading and will get you fucked up.

And there are people out in this world that really dont know the difference between the 2.

Lets educate.

Its like this.......Hip Hop got non blacks caught up in using the word "nigga" so freely.....Bottom line.

My thing is this......Don't use a word unless it applys to u......A nigga is a black decendent born and bread in America......That is the definition of a nigga......It is also a term of endearment that is user umongst blacks.

Alot of non blacks wanna use the word and it kills me cuz they use it and act like its okay.....Esp non blacks in Nor Cal...They got that shit bad.

I'm not gonna step to a Mexican and say "whats up Ese".....Thats a word used only in a Mexican crowd and I'm not gonna overstep my boundries.

Just like when Imus called them girls from Rutgers "nappy head hoes"......Alot of mothafuckas got bent all out of shape behind it like what he said was no big deal......Even the word "nappy" is a word used exclusively in the black community.....Its a term we use umongst each other to describe our hair when its out of place.

If u ain't black then don't use the word.....Period!

I run into non blacks who say shit like "I have black homies and they say its okay for me to use the word"....My advice to anyone who has black homies that give u a pass to only use it around them.....Just cuz they give u a pass don't mean all blacks will give u one......Non blacks who get these so-called passes have a tendacy to throw the word "nigga" around when they are all out in public.

I might hear a nonblack use the word and get at them about it but I'm more diplomatic about it......Some blacks are not and will get gangsta with u off top so I'd suggest ya'll watch what ur saying around people.

If ur listening to a song and singing along I guess its okay cuz those are the lyrics to then then that eliminate word from ur vocab.
