17 owners are trying to get Goodell fired. They need 24 to vote to have him fired. Apparently his contract extension was supposed to be done back in September and still hasn't been approved.
Even though they don't have enough to fire him, apparently they have enough where they can basically force him to step down if they don't get him a contract extension.
Hopefully this is a sign that retard Goodell is gone next year.

I don't like Goodell either but these owners want him out for all the wrong reasons, primarily due to the protests. Some of these owners want to put a stop to the protests entirely, they want to silence the players and penalize players who do it.
Like the Texans owner Bob McNair- during that owners meeting he said the league needed to put a stop to protests during the anthem because, “We can’t have inmates running the prison.”
Motherfucker.
So all of the Texans players besides like 10 of them responded to their own owner today by kneeling/sitting during the anthem. Great way to divide the team/organization!
These owners are so out of touch with reality its hilarious. Trying to silence players only makes the issue far bigger. And that's true going back to Kaepernick - if they would have simply not said anything about it no one would have cared and it eventually would fade away.

I thought it was hilarious that Jerry Jones didn't seem to jump on the Goodell hate wagon until this current Zeke fiasco.
Jerry Jones is probably the only guy that can actually rally all of the owners together, he was one of the main reasons the Raiders got approved for Vegas.

The voice of the league should be a raw ex player cut to the league Ray Lewis as a baby in diapers and bomb it back out with the unpopular sports invein "the merger" and bring in another formed up side league for the people who hate the NFL and merge the two so every city that has build for a team can have one who wouldn't want a football team then and bend in my imagination

Best to get it over with now. Golden boy Tom Brady couldn't even get out of his suspension (granted, he did get it pushed back all the way until the next season).
Would suck more if the Cowboys made the playoffs and Zeke was suspended then and couldn't play in the playoffs. He'll be back for the last 2 games of the season this way at least.
