What you have to understand is that the person who win's the MVP award is not always the best player in the league, and rather frequently not even the best player that year. Most of the time it goes to a player who was on a successful team and had a big impact on the teams success. Asking who we think will win the award is not the same as asking who we believe deserves it. Priest Holmes is #1 in TD's (excluding QB's) with 19 (7 more than 2nd by 7) and he has more receiving yards than any other running back in the league. Take into account his teams success and you have yourself an NFL Most Valuable Player. Sometimes it might seem bias, sometimes it doesn't. They should make a seperate player of the year award voted on by other people, but the MVP should go to Priest Holmes.

Right now I'd probably go with either McNabb or McNair. Manning is having an incredible season, but he also has a much better offense surrounding him than either McNair or McNabb.

I hope you ain't referring to Holmes. He's not even the leading rusher, so he's certainly not the NFL's MVP. He has Green and Gonzalez. Lemme say again: look at McNair. He has no one at all to support him. He's the best all around QB in the league. Holmes ain't even the best all around back in his division [Tomlinson]. Sorry.

You throwing out all kinds of technicalities like Holmes only getting these TD's from two yards out. That shit doesn't matter, he has the T.D.'s, he has yardage on both the receiving and running end, and his team is a success. Those two different questions I just showed you would get different answers from many of the users on this board, maybe even from myself. I think Jamal Lewis did better then Holmes, but under the circumstances, he will not get the award.
