matt ryan isnt the mvp of the falcons let alone the league. the reason he has so many come from behind victories is that he puts the falcons in that situation. i wouldnt want another qb in the last 2 minutes but the other 58 id take at least ten qbs.

mac ass vic i sonned you on the vick/brady topic, you really want to hurt your feelings about the qb of MY TEAM? lol

for the first 58 minutes of any game id rather have
brady
manning
brees
rivers
vick
garrard
rodgers
flacco
roethlisberger
bradford

like i said, for the last 2 minutes, ryan is money. he better be. what other qb in the nfl gets a first ballot hof te, and probowl rb and wr? he is a game manager right now. when he can get some arm strength and accuracy on his deep ball he will be one of the best in the league.

roddy white is the mvp of the falcons and its not even close. 9er fans can tell you why based on the same play thats happened 2 years in a row.

just so you know matt cassell was sacked the most in the NFL with the same line. just a lil food for thought lol
matt cassel was also a rookie who hadnt thrown a pass since high school and was able to lead an nfl team to a pretty good record. im not taking anything away from brady he is one of the greatest qbs of all time and one of my favorites. mike vick is the mvp this year though and its not close.

true indeed but i watched every game that year and our o-line was pure trash and matt cassell actually wasnt too bad. look i know brady is good because of that o-line but you can say the same for vick with his Running game and his receivers. if vivk didnt have his weapons then he wouldnt be in the MVP race either so IMO all that talk rules shit out. i think it comes down to adversity and brady has been through it all this year and proved to rise above it. i mean the last ranked defense and all the rookies on offense and he's getting the team to win the way they are winning all while putting up crazy numbers and breaking a record every game. this MVP race is a toss up and can go to either guy, to say its not even close is just ridiculous. IMO it will come down to these last 2 games and if brady keeps on trucking then he'll win IMO. but if brady has even 1 bad game which he's do for then maybe it's vick. it is literally that close right now.

new england does NOT have the last ranked defense. if teams win by yards then yes, but last i checked, points are what decide games and philly gives up more than new england. not only that but new englands defense has scored 6 tds to phillys 2. i debunked that argument earlier. adversity? what is 2 years in prison? lol not to mention being in your first year starting in a new offense? when kolb was expected to be the starter?

like i said earlier as well. you dont trade randy moss if you dont think you have the talent to win. rookies or not. the best rb in the nfl this year is a rookie. matt forte was the best rb as a rookie. matt ryan just had maybe the best rookie season of any nfl qb in history 2 years ago. rookies arent what they used to be.

sorry we are ranked 28th total. and yeah rookies can be good but the odds that every rookie you got is good all at the same time is pretty hard to come by. i dont think we got rid of moss because of the talent we had, we got rid of him because he was becoming a cancer and belichick was smart enough to catch it before it fucked us. and yeah vick was in prison but not this year and thats what this trophy is for. i'm talking adversaity on the feild. all the things you speak of is what shapes vick up to be comeback player of the year since he came off the bench and came out of prison. time will tell who is and IMO they both deserve it so give it to them both. they did that a couple times in recent years anyway and this time it is really really close

its closer than i have given brady credit for but i just think that brady would be creamed behind phillys oline that keeps vick on the run for a good deal of many games. theres no question who is afforded the better protection and who plays better under constant durress. thats my deciding factor in itself. we've all seen what brady (and every other traditional pocket qb) does when he is under a constant pass rush. vicks abilities to sustain plays have put him a step ahead of the rest of nfl qbs. the fact that he has put up better numbers in spite of that shows who the mvp is. not to mention new englands defense has helped brady more than philly's has vick.

Brady is always gonna be Brady... but come on now, Mike Vicks first season back from being in prison for 2 years.. wasn't even the starting QB, only got in because of Kolbs injury.. and he's putting up these kind of #s?! give him tha damn MVP award.. def. deserved

and yes he does have a good supporting cast in his WRs and RB.. but honestly put Vick on any team, as long as he's a threat with his legs he will make any WR look good..

yeah man you make great points as do i, thats why its such a toss up. i dont think vick would be too good with our system and players we got either though, both players fit perfect with the coach and the scheme of the offense. brady with the flu today threw for 3 td's and broke 1 record and extended 3 more. it should just be a tie cause both these guys deserve it,.

good point about the qbs being right for each others systems. lets put to rest though the no help from running game or defense for the pats. 200 + rushing yards 3 picks and 3 forced fumbles. the pats were up 31-3 with brady only contributing 87 yards of offense with ten completions and 3 tds. those tds were on short fields offered up by the defense and run game. not saying brady couldnt have drove them down the field but their defense is better than philly's and better than you give them credit for.
