I say we make the playoffs (look at the cards a couple years ago no one expected them to make it to the sb and look what happen)...get a late pick and then make a trade for kolb in the offseason or trade up in the draft for a qb.

At this very moment, there are NO teams in the NFC West with a winning record. There is a very good chance that the winner goes in at .500....or even below that.

Now, think of this. A playoff team can have the highest pick of 21st per the NFL rules (I believe). However, a SINGLE game can turn a bottom 10 pick, into a top ten pick, as a team going say 6-7 wins has that chance this year. And lets be honest, there are 3 teams they DESPERATELY need a QB at LEAST.

SO the question is, do you want your team to LIMP into the playoffs, most likely LOSE the first round, and get stuck with a bottom 10 picks. Or, would you rather miss the playoffs, get a HIGHER pick, and hope your team makes the right moves in the offseason?

This question is for ANYONE, its just that the NFCW is living in that reality at the moment.
ill take limping into the playoffs cause any given sunday theres that slim chance your team clicks and goes all the way like the FRISCO GIANTS no one outside the bay was giving em any respect or chance to win and they end up as the champs

for the Raiders I'd take limping into the playoffs FA SHO

but we don't have a first round pick... so that just means a lower pick for the Pats

For Seattle, ill take a higher draft choice. There just isn't any hope for Seattle for the rest of the season. Falcons are a top team, Bucs are heading in the right direction and Rams game would be meaningless if Seattle loses to falcons and bucs, and rams already beat us once, it could happen again.

I would like Seattle to get Cam Newton, if he even enters the draft, but that's a fat chance for Seattle to get him if he enters the draft.
