ibs is really caused by a disconnect between the colon and the brain. it is a cluster fuck of problems. you get cramping, diarrhea, constipation. it happens in 2 to 3 times as many women than men. i got bored one day at werk and was typing up a rx for asacol which is used for ibs so i looked it up.
