MY MUSIC IS MY MUSIC..IF I WANTED 2 DO WHAT SNOOP DOES I WOULD BE RUNNIN BEHIND HIM..I'VE PIMPED BEFORE IN LIFE BUT HONESTLY ON SOME REAL SHIT I'M NOT NO PIMP SO YOU WON'T HEAR 2 MUCH OF THAT IN MY MUSIC.I MAKE MUSIC THAT PROBABLY APPEALS 2 PEOPLE IN THE STRUGGLE & PEOPLE WHO ARE GRINDIN...I DO MY BEST 2 MAKE IT TIGHT THOUGH...SOMETIMES I MIGHT RAP WHAT SOUNDS GOOD OVER A BEAT BUT USUALLY WHEN I WRITE I TALK ABOUT WHAT I'M FEELING AT THE MOMENT..I DON'T KNOW IF IT WAS YOUR INTENTION & I DO RESPECT SNOOP 2 AN EXTENT BUT I HATE 2 BE COMPARED OR 4 PEOPLE 2 SAY I SHOULD DO WHAT THE NEXT MAN'S DOING..YOU CAN ASK BO OR ANY OF MY HOMIES I'M FAR FROM A FOLLOWER CUZZIN...& I'VE BASICALLY GOT OVER THE HOMIES DEATH BUT I STILL HAVE 2 DEAL WITH THE FUNERAL..IT HAD ME REAL SAD 4 A COUPLE OF DAYS BUT I'M TRYING 2 CHANNEL THAT ENERGY INTO INSPIRATION...RIP BOBBY G.100
My bad... I should have explained myself more. I wasn't saying you should follow Snoop or rap about pimpin' like he's doing... naaa dog.

I was just trying to say that Snoop is still rapping about pimpin' like he has been doing for a while. If he switched up he's going to start losing fans. So in my opinion you shouldn't switch up too much as far as your music is concerned. I know as an artist you grow but you still gotta spit that fire. You gotta come with that heat that got you famous. I think your lyrics are still tight but what happened to that aggressive delivery that we're used to hearing from you? Like how you came on that Kingpins only album "it cost to be the boss and only real G'z get broke off!!

Mac Dre said it best. "It's not what you say it's how you say it."

Killa-Tay... you gotta keep your music real like Snoop Dogg's. He's gotten older but his music still bumps. He still spits that pimp talk.
IMO I think Tay keeps it mo real then Snoop... Snoop went mainstream and shit is all watered down......Snoop used to spit that G shit, now that pimp shit don't impress me 1 bit..... come on keep it real dogg. lol

Tay keeps the shit real, ya dig.... real niggaz can appreciate that.

I appreciate it too... I wasn't really trying to compare Snoop to Killa Tay. I was just saying that Snoop is still spittin' that pimp music and is still selling records. It's like the same with Mac Dre before he passed away. He was spittin' that thizz shit and selling records. I know artist grow, mature, and don't hang out in the streets much but you still gotta spit that fire. You still gotta have it in you.

Y'all stay up!!

I listen to West Coast gangsta rap. I listen to mob music, pimp music....I was just bumpin that Fat Tone CD yesterday when on the first song C-Bo was on there spittin'... but he ain't spittin' like that no more. I don't know what's up with y'all mayne. J.T. the bigga figga ain't dropped a tight album in almost 10 years... Maybe it's the beats but something is missing from you guys' music these days. The West ain't eatin because y'all ain't coming with no more heat. You got these weak rappers like Young Jeezy all on MTV blowin' up and the rappers with real talent are just sittin' back lettin these cats take all the money.

Turf Talk has been coming with that mob music heat tho'.

The Moment of Truth was cool. I'd rate it a 6 out of 10 to be honest with you. I bought the album because I like y'all music but I hardly listen to it that much because I only like a few songs. The song Moment of Truth is hard. I was expecting more songs like that on the album. I wouldn't call it weak but I thought a C-Bo/Killa-Tay album would be harder. Don't take my opinion as me being disrespectful or don't take it as me hatin' because I am not the type of cat that disrepects people or hate. But I think it may have more to do with the beats/production. What happened to them Awol producers? Or them Awol cats that were doing y'all beats?

I'll see what's up with your new album when it drops. I was kind of disappointed with C-Bo's Money to Burn.

I ACTUALLY LIKED THE PRODUCTION ON MOMENT OF TRUTH & AS FAR AS THE AWOL PRODUCTION GOES..I MADE A LOT OF MY BEATS BUT THAT WAS LET'S SEE...10-11 YEARS AGO..LIKE I ALWAYS SAID..IF THAT'S WHAT YOU'RE LOOKIN 4 THEN LISTEN 2 THOSE ALBUMS..AS A PERSON WHO CONSIDERS HIMSELF A GOOD MUSIC CRITIC & A PROFESSIONAL I DO MY BEST 2 MAKE SURE THE MUSIC IS UP 2 PAR BEFORE I EVEN LEAVE THE STUDIO.I NOTICE PEOPLE JUDGE YOU AS A WHOLE BASED ON EVERYTHING THEY HEAR & SOMETIMES WE AS ARTISTS ARE NOT IN CONTROL OF THE MIXES OR FINAL DRAFTS OF THE MUSIC.IF YOU FEEL LIKE MY LYRICS ARE NOT UP 2 PAR THEN SAY THAT & IT WILL JUST BE MOTIVATION.OTHER THAN THAT YOU CANNOT GO AT RAPPERS ALL THE TIME...WE ARE INDIVIDUALS & SOMETIMES THE CREATIVE CONTROL OR THE QUALITY OF THE PRODUCTION OR ALBUM AS A WHOLE IS THE LABELS RESPONSIBILITY..LIKE ON MY FIRST ALBUM THE LABEL WAS BULLSHITTIN WITH THE BUDGET SO I DID THE SHIT MYSELF..BEATS & ALL...I'VE COME 2 THE CONCLUSION THAT YOU CAN'T MAKE EVERYBODY HAPPY SO I'M JUST MAKING AN ALBUM THAT I FEEL IS ME & YOU CAN JUDGE FROM THERE..BUT IF YOU COMPARE IT 2 AN ALBUM I DID WHEN I WAS GANGBANGING OR IN A DIFFERENT ENVIRONMENT YOU'LL PROBABLY BE DISAPPOINTED BECUZ IT'S 2007 & I'M A DIFFERENT PERSON WITH DIFFERENT TASTE IN MUSIC & A LOT MORE MATURE SO I DON'T EXPRESS MYSELF THE SAME..LYRICALLY THOUGH I BELIEVE I'M ALWAYS ON POINT CUZ IT'S REAL..100

Moment Of Truth I think was the hardest shit you and C-BO have done so far....that song "Imma Killa feat. Mitchy Slick, The Realest" was the hardest song I've heard in a while....
