Damn A.T. If ya read all the posts ..2 pages of em, and about a 170 looks..only one person said he wasnt feelin the song, thats not bad at all, and the person who said he was not feelin it didnt say it in a haterish way. Majority of the people said they liked it but the mix was off. which it is and storman says so as well. This section of the site really aint for posting music and usually they delete these threads, but moderators pretty cool in Southern cal forum. Usually when someone posts a song they looking for feedback, and it was given in a respectable way. Look at Freaks he posted his shit and he got some of the same feedback...I cant really speak on every song put out by skyline artists though i have about 100 songs or so in my collection, of shit done in skyline and quality aint that bad..look at Rikks Skyline Archives 1 & 2..now rikk knew how to get a good sound with his lil set-up. I was around in dago back then when baby skar had that frontline soldiers tape..still got it. I think he went to a studio for that though.

LIL STORMAN....true story.. I went and paid about $50 dollars an hour ( I say this because the prices went from $45-$55) to record the Gangsta Granny presents Bossman Hogg and the Knok Album album at a studio with great outboard gear/mics fairly good board (120 channel/faders at mixdown.) I spent the same hourly figure to mix it down and Master. Figure it took about a lil more an hour to record each song and spent the same amount of time to mix it down. Then have it mastered.
TRuth....It could have been mixed better. It was mixed right, but different engineers have different ears and all mix differently. I know the quality is more then good enough for the purpose of printing up some c.ds and selling them...but I want each person who buys my shit to get the best experience from all angles, and it is something that does not happen over night and is part of a learning experience. So someone can have a big studio and not get as a good a mix as someone with a small set-up. Engineer is something that is taught and learned but it also is talent not all engineers have. Im stating all this to demonstrate that when it comes to my opinions I put myself through the same.
