you think an expansion team could have more success then the teams allready mentioned????

nfl wont have another expansion franchise in a minute anyways...the leauge is set up perfect right now...
yea thats the point, i dont know it will be easy for l.a to get a team i dont see many teams even wanting to move there.

The Rams need to go back home. Stl. don't care bout them. The Chargers should have gotten the new stadium not the lame ass Padres. Eastlake better step up or S.D. will be rooting for the L.A. Chargers.

"MIGHT AS WELL"????

what good reasons other then LA being huge is there about bringing in a new nfl team?

bad reasons: (IMO)
the nfl is perfectly structured as is...
the economy is in the tank...
LA has failed time and time again (the fans in LA arent football fans....if they are thier team is USC before anything...)
the texans (last expansion team) cant even make it into the playoffs...

if LA gets a team its going to be a team being MOVED...not an expansion....period

INDUSTRY, Calif. -- City Council members in the city of Industry unanimously approved a proposal for a pro football stadium intended to lure a team back to the Los Angeles area.

Thursday's vote helps clear the way for developers of the $800 million venue to begin contacting NFL teams about a possible move to the industrial and warehousing city 15 miles east of Los Angeles.

Officials with developer Majestic Real Estate Co. have said they would begin those discussions about a month after the vote.

Majestic intends to pay for the stadium with private funds and start construction as soon as a team has committed to playing there.

Neighboring cities concerned about traffic and noise have threatened lawsuits to stop the stadium
