man if he sold over 30g's for AP, u know its gonna be hella more than that imma say 50gs...cuz hes been doin nothin but growing his loyal fan base for the passed 4 years. So many people outside of KC, like me, never heard of Tech before AP and lots more people got exposed to tech after that release. As far as pre-christmas sales, What would really push the album sales is if the first week sales are great from us loyals and impress a lot of people, then tech can start gettin a lil more attention from bitch ass radio stations, then all the people who went out and saw him in concert that one time way back will know that the new shit is out and go cop it as well as get the attention of the masses out there who still dont know who the fuck tech is or heard of his dope ass music...but all it really comes down to is people hearin the shit cuz the style, quality, and energy is undeniable.
Okay, I know I'm gonna catch some flack for this, so I ask to be forgiven up front. There is a song on the album (or it could be on the Strange Library) where he mentions that he had meetings with "Atlantic, Jive and TVT" (Yeah!!! HaHa.) The problem is, I can't remember what song it is now, and I feel stupid about it. I just picked up my copy this afternoon, so I haven't listened to it a whole lot yet. :ermm:
If everything goes as planned, they'll sell all the copies they pressed and shipped out. I don't think first week sales are all that important either. It's gonna hit in waves like a good mushroom trip. I bet it'll peak around january/february, go platinum next summer. The real question is, how many shows u think tech will do on this tour, and when will it end?

Have you seen all the tentative dates Strange has listed for all the other artists? Fontanta seems to want firm dates as the time gets closer, so I'd say they can't tour as much as they have been. But this current swing will last at least three months. A good formula would be to be on the road for three months, and then off for a while to get all the artists in the studio.
if he sold 40K with anghellic then he will exceed 50K for sure...the only problem is there is some people that dont care about supporting tech, they just want to listening to his sicc rhymes.. so they will download it on their fucking ipods and shit and not bother spending the money to go buy it. as for me... theres no doubt im picking up a couple copies!!
