Do I believe people who follow Dem or Repub are the same; no. I really don't think the people in power nor do the people themselves believe they are the same.
Do I believe people who identify themselves as Dem or Repub are wasting their time; yes.
But I don't believe they are powerless. They just exert their efforts in a futile manner.

-gave up nuclear secrets to the chinese who are now eclipsing our economic and military prowess
-cut intelligence funding
-Osama declares holy war on the US in 1998, CIA finds him in Fall 2000, Clinton does nothing, USS Cole gets bombed in October 2000 under Clinton, he does nothing, 9/11/01, "all bush's fault"
-boned a fat bitch with a cigar
yeah this guy was pretty fuckin exceptional. now lets hear about the economy etc. while you neglect to look at who was in the house and the senate during those trends. are you joking?

-Single handedly destroyed welfare by demolishing the welfare safety net, ending the 61-year-old guarantee of at least some income for the poorest Americans.
-Promised universal healthcare to get elected which of course was a lie. Amerikans without health insurance rose from 35 to 44 million under Clinton.
-The Welfare Reform Act barred immigrants from receiving welfare and cut $24 billion from the federal food-stamp program.
- Carried out the aggressive "law and order" agenda, which massively beefed up the police force while expanding the racist "war on drugs," resulting in the doubling of the U.S. prison population to two million - more than any other country in the world.
-After the Oklahoma City bombing, he pushed through the Anti-Terrorism and Effective Death Penalty Act which foreshadowed many of the attacks on immigrant rights and increases in the government's repressive powers in Bush's Patriot Act.
-Responsible for the genocidal sanctions that killed more than one million Iraqis.
-Created NAFTA, which is responsible for over 400,000 job losses in amerika, while their new jobs pay on average 23% less and of course poverty has exploded in Mexico, with two-thirds of the population now living on less than $3 per day (all you immigration nuts should be blaming Clinton, not Mexico for our immigration problems. Prior to NAFTA there were approximately 3 million illegal Mexican immigrants living in the US, since NAFTA the number is around 8-10m).
