True, but since minorities such as Blacks tend to be lower on the social class in our society(for some reason), then it is indirectly related to race in that way.

Fuck rebuilding, it's gonna happen again. And they knew it was gonna happen in the first place. The reason people are against the "rich white people" is cause they are the people that have "power" in our country. now if peopld don't get this, they need to start doing some fucking research on what goes on. The people that lost their homes, lives, etc obviously couldn't do shit about getting out because of either their physical health or economic status.

This shit was just a wake up call for America to realize the gov't doesn't give a FUCK about those people. If fucking David Banner can do more the day after than the US Gov't, we're in for some fucking trouble.

they knew that this was going to happen, and yet nothing was done. the people of new orleans avoided this tragadty in the past serveral times. Why wasnt something done in the first place? other cities have such as Venice are preparing for it. and the netherland city had its own flood gates after there dissasster a few decades back. and on top of it, N.O. had no evacution plans...well it didnt seem like they did.

its just sad, however, now poeple will get on it, and i'm sure it wont happen again, or it wont be this tragic.

The people most affected by Katrina were poor, black amerikans. These people are not the enemy to anyone. The enemy is the rich people living in mansions that are in part responsible for poor black people living in N.O in the first place. @ HERESY .. not really sure why you'd think that but nothing could ever help me believe that statement. New Orleans was a corrupt city i agree with that, but a lot of good people died .. a lot of children were witness to things no child should have to go through. there's still some of my friends that no one has been able to get in touch with since and i'm sure some of them never made it out the storm .. i don't think this was "deserved" at all.
