the new screen, the way it browsed through sounds was more like the Fantom so it was alot easier for me. The factory drum kits were actually useable right out of the box, kinda like the fantom. I didn't get too deep into it, but definitely worth checking into if you got the funds. The Fantom is gettin so played out now. So I need to break bread on some new gear to spark some new creativity.

I remember going into GC and playing with the fantom x, and I was able to come up with a drum pattern in less than five minutes. The navigation was easy, and in my opinion, this is one area where roland excells because there products are usually easy to navigate (the xp60, dr-660 and vs-880ex were alll easy for me.)

So do you think it is worth it now or do you think you should hold out and see what the korg board sounds like?
