for a song to truly slap you have to have some lyrical content to it, i was hoping on hus stepping his game up after being inside for a couple years. Looking forward to a new album though, a real well though out album from Hus we will see if he delivers.

a 'slap' showcases the beat

Thats your opinion......And this is mine....Have you heard that X raided ice cold shit, or any of those new tracks he has up? IMO the 4 out of the six songs dont have "slappin" ass beats.....But never the less, X raided is still gassin the shit out of em..........

On a side note........It seems like this song is liked by alot of people on this site, for whatever reason may be......But if this type of music is all we expect from our bay area frontliners.....Than dont expect us to be back on no national level.......So enough of this why the bay aint on bullshit.......The reason why the bay aint on is because us fans will support this mediocre rap game we have out here........Support that real lyrical storytellin, grimey mob, revolutionary shit the bay should be producing right now.....Fuck what the rest of the world is doing........The world will have no choice but to respect this real shit we are capable of.......Until then.....Enjoy shit like messy gucci mane marv, trying to get his national appeal by switching his rhyme game up.........

at the same time, if the rapper dont got flows then it doesnt matter how lyrical he is its gonna be wack which is the case with A-Wax 90% of the time. Hus brings that energy to the track to make up for his lack of lyrical content. And on top of all this mothafuckas are just not rapping all the way around like in the 90's, the average bay artist was spitting like a mothafucka in the 90's now its just to hard to find any rapper with decent flows

So whats the point of even have a rapper on a beat then? I mean, if the beat is all people care about, maybe there needs to be more instrumentals. This song is BETTER, without Hus on it...period.

What that says to me is, that the industry is SO WATERED down, that you could be fartin over a dope beat, and people will like it. If the beat is great, and some dimwit is just talkin nonsense, it'll sell.

Its really sad that I have to witness the rap game be in the crap heap it is.

The rap game really became watered down when the South took over. To me that what Lil Wayne does mumble a bunch of shit and everyone loves it, its disgusting to me.
