Ive been a fan of these fools forever now it seems, ever since their self-titled release (but BROKE is what really did it for me), and this album came out of nowhere. I didnt even know they were working on a new one, and truthfully I wasnt even caring much since their last cd (Only In Amerika) was absolute garbage.
But this shit, im pretty impressed with their comeback to their more solid style. I think the title "Back 2 Basics" is referring to their realization that they were heading the wrong direction, and now theyre back to the punkrock-rappish-rock-metal type shit. haha seriously.. they mix up the genres like its no big deal. Very few rock-rap groups are even worth a damn.
Check it out if you like punk rock. Its really punkish and upbeat, the whole cd comes at you high speed.
Check it out if you like rap or rock too though.. haha.. jahred is a rapper at heart in my opinion.
