yeah you get something to help you with anxiety etc and you can't get off it, my old girlfriend was in rehab for one of those xanax or paxil...but all that sounds good in a rap song but the truth is being stretched...govt. is anti drug they won't even do research on the medical uses of weed...maybe now with Obama it will open up! ... s

Dude you are so off base. The government is far from "anti-drug", as you say. They just take advantage of being able to remove peoples rights by making some drugs illegal. Specifically drugs they can't control as well, and make you think outside the box like marijuana. They rather have you hooked on their shit like pharmaceuticals thus boosting corporate economy. They don't do research on medical weed because there's not as much money to be made with a plant that anybody can grow in their own backyard for free, as there is in laboratory's creating synthetic medicine that no one can make themselves.

As for illegal drugs they still flood the street with them because there is too much money to be made in the black market, while still arresting people and putting them into privately owned prisons. It's a vicious cycle and the war on drugs is just as bunk as any other war.

Obama isn't gonna do shit either because he's here just to maintain the status quo. Just like what he's doing with this medical insurance company bailout, oops I mean "healthcare bill".

I doubt there is some group conspiracy in the govt saying oh we have to control the people by making some things legal and others illegal that we control all of it? and we report to the Illuminati nonsense.. Most illegal drugs are controlled my gang organizations, the govt does not have man power or organization to do so.. they cant even finish the bay bridge without waiting for steel from china.. it is a choice no one forces you to take drugs if everyone just stopped would the govt care? I doubt it.

and if the govt health bill is a bailout why is every conservative ass in the land going apeshit they would just buy stock in health insurance companies and make a bundle...oh lord the govt is gonna pay for abortions the end is near.

You could be part right I could be part right...would not know the whole story unless you were there working with CIA or NSA and seeing what really happens..

First off I never said that the Govt. forces you to take drugs and I don't think this song did either. But you have to admit there is a lot of deception and manipulation when it comes to prescription drugs. Simple point blank period. End of discussion. And if you think they make some drugs illegal to try and protect you and be"anti-drug", then I don't know what to tell you other than you're living in a fantasy.

You act like the GOV hasn't been involved in this type of thing before. Look up the Iran Contra scandal, which I hope you already are aware of. They did it then, what makes you think they can't do it now? Yeah there are gangs that control shit, but they are just pieces of a bigger puzzle. You think that a multi billion dollar budgeted agency like the CIA doesn't have man power or organization? Lol. The Bay Bridge doesn't even compare to this at all. There is deception in everything.. The corporations have a product they want you to try it to make money, they make a pain pill for people in actual pain it helps them some people take it and abuse it, that is people not the govt.
they make drugs illegal cause of lack of knowledge, they tried prohibition that did not work, they made weed illegal in 36 thinking it was the devils weed. The CiA does not have the manpower to handle the drug trade, they can't even catch Bin Laden. There attitude towards drugs is anti unless it helps their agenda like fighting terrorism. Iran contra was some scheme oliver north and others tried to pull off. you buy coke on the street it comes from drug cartels not the govt. if the health bill is pro insurance why did they fight it tooth and nail to prevent it from going into effect

Wasn't the government just trying or did pass some legislation prolonging patents for pharmaceutical companies? If so, than that alone would make me think they are somewhat involved. Just the lobbying power these corporations have bring in government.

No one is saying drug cartels aren't involved and it's solely the government. There are just parts of U.S. govt. and its policy that are involved in this huge cluster fuck we call drug trade. Whether it be shit in our food, prescribed drugs, illegal drugs, sending people to prison. Just look up the fluoridation of our water. Big chemical, big pharmaceutical, and big drug cartels all have their power which therefore gets to politicians. The first 2 have crazy of amounts of lobbying power in Washington. With the illegal drugs it's just rogue elements of govt. not the whole thing and history has proven this.

Have they really fought it though? This one, that's not universal? As long as that mandate is in there and there's no public option, they are plenty happy to have 50 million plus new customers, forced to have to buy their policies.
