Re: @ Cool Nutz

Personal opinion from others--namely, artists/producers in the business, not non-rapping lemmings & dick-riding fans--is telling me that i am on the right track. While i am not going to discuss names, rest assured, there are several names i will be looking into collab'ing with in the near future. And many of them will suprise everyone, even you, the mighty Cool Nutz himself; Imperial Overlord of the "NorthWest's Best Record Label"!

My medication is knowledge...so, yes, in a way, you're right, i havent been taking as much as i should. Until college starts again next year, i'm gonna be in a somewhat funky mood. I will try to make up for it by studying Portuguese & Arabic for a few hours a day in my spare time (sim, e verdade! Tadou fala um pouco do portugues...), but, as far as the attitude part, i will try my best, but i cant make any promises!!!

YOUR A FUCKIN QUEER! I JUST STARTED READING POSTS ON THE STREET LEVEL AND JUS FAMILY BOARD AND YOU TALK TOO MUCH. IVE HEARD YOUR MUSIC ON SOUNDCLICK BEFORE IT WAS GARBAGE. THE NAMES OF THE SONGS WERE REALLY FUCKED UP.

TO FANS OF COOL NUTZ, ME AND THE MAN HIMSELF IN THE PROGRESS OF DOING A TRACK FOR MY COMPILATION, ILL POSSIBLY GET A SAMPLE UP ONCE COMPLETE.

Tadou

*Nutz I will take the civil approach on speaking with our four tongued friend*
Off the top yall, don't hate on JC's, small colleges or any other education institution. Knowledge is knowledge, it is never cheap or worthless, from the streets to Yale. Shit, if I ever take my drunk ass back to school I will fa sho start at a JC cuz the transition from being a derelict wino to an astute student will be viscious.

Second, Tadou some of your quotes in other forums were interesting and well thought, so believe me, I ain't tryin to be bully. I won't need to be quadrilingual to get my point across, and you bringing up your college resume may be impressive in some sectors, but here it bears no merit. You did not need to put up all those posts showing your academic stripes to get respect in here. In fact, in my eyes it did the opposite. The topic of this thread was about the undeniably nuke bomb of an album that is forthcoming from one of the NW's greatest, Bosko the superproducer. I don't see what your achievements have to do with the topic. I know you were answering detractors, but surely someone as intelligent as you could find some way to rebuke them without stuffing our faces with ribbons and certificates.

Now, it is great that you support your NW artists, we all should (and I try to go the extra mile to make sure I do); and you were right when you said early in the thread that every NW album should have a Bosko track. In my opinion, they should also have tracks from Torry Ward, Big Squeeze, D-Sane, Ray Ray of G-Ism, Dubb Flex, Jumbo of the Lifesavas, BG Church, Billyuns and a few others but those are the ones that come from the top of the head. The problem lies in that most NW artists have a camp which includes an in house producer that is able to get the job done for a great deal of whomever's album. The difference with the aforementioned producers and Bosko is that Bosko long ago graduated from being regionalized. He has plaques, Tv theme songs, and a gigantic discography which include the names of the hottest acts from all over the country.

Just because someone has the bread to buy a Bosko beat does not ensure that he will work with said artist. From a NW standpoint, it is usually Cool Nutz that acts as the go between us up and coming Pacific artists and Bosko. Nutz doesn't give Bosko samplers to anyone; it is the artists that have serious potential and a hard knock hustle. On top of that, if you are one of the acts to get recognized as someone with the said skills; you will almost always get a huge discount in the price you pay versus what a nationally established artist would pay. All this adds up to a huge favor from Bosko, Bombay, and Jus Family. Bosko does not owe us, he is the role model for all NW acts in which we can all soak game from.

Cool Nutz said it best: We (Jus Family/Bombay) are not a charity organization. But if you get down with these cats for some time, you will see the dividends if you have the drive to compete.

Feel free to send me back any of your corrections in my grammar. I tried to speak with eloquence, but I'm a bit more gutter than that.

High School & College are very different, my friend. You will soon see that when you are--unlike in High School--NOT allowed the use of notes for quizzes nor tests nor exams.

Every class that i have taken thus far will transfer to UW as well as any other major university, and therefore, i do not bother worring about where the credits were originally earned at. So what the fuck is you even laughing about? The fact that--if i felt like it--i could spend 2 years at a JC and then transfer to Harvard?

Do you think that Harvard would be more impressed with a 4.0 in High School or a 3.5 in college? If you chose the former (or the "first one", for simple folk)...you are sad. All colleges & universities admit & recruit transfer students, and Harvard is no exception. This is something you will learn when you grow up a little more.

Good day.
I'm not sure what HS you went to, but I don't get to use notes for quizzes, tests, or exams. And as for your second point, Harvard would be more impressed with a 4.0 in HS and a 1500 on the SAT than a 3.5 at a JC. The former shows that the student has worked hard and gained knowledge, while the latter shows that the student was too stupid to get into a real college and has been lazy while at the JC because they don't even have a 4.

I wasn't hatin on JC's. I went to the jc. Not cause I couldn't get into a 4 year school, cause I was accepted to a lot of them for my academics. I went to the jc so that I could play football. Just the fact that this dumbshit thinks he's some kind of genius cause he's finished three classes that could transfer to a 4 year school, drives me nuts. That shit's easy. Try finishing all of the units required for a 4 year degree. That's hard shit. He acts like the world revolves around him. Comparing himself to Socrates. lol. He needs to realize that all of this talkin about himself doesn't help his cause. He makes himself look like a bigger moron after every post.:dead:

Ok smart guy. I was talkin in third person cause I was obviously telling Shaolin what the jc thing was about. I wouldn't have quoted him otherwise. I already have posts addressed to YOU, Tadou. I'm not wastin my time on you any more.

@ Tadou
I have never really made mention of some of your posts, but at this point, I will have to do so. I have sat back and read many of your posts, and have come to the conclusion, that you are an ignorant person. You prove this by all of the nonsense that you post on here. You talk about your support of the NW, yet you own only 1 NW record? You try to draw blueprints to succes, but you don't have the knowledge of the business to educate anyone. You are on the outside looking in.

You really think that me putting a whole lot of local artists on a project will give me more exposure? Let me break something down to you. Most of the artists in the NW are only selling a couple hundred records. There are only a few artists from this region that have enough fans, to help sell a project. Those being:
Cool Nutz & Jus Family Records
Mr. D.O.G
No Good
Lifesavas
Mix A Lot
E-Dawg
Self Tightld
Gangsta Nutt
Shaolin
Source of Labor
Ol Dominion
Boom Bap Project
FTS
Pete Miser
and a few others

Do you really think that some of the other acts that have sold 200 albums will help me sell more albums? You are truly stupid if you think so. There are a number of cats in these forums that pose as record labels that have sold little to none records. People buy records because they want to hear artists that they are familiar with, they seldom EVER buy records anymore because they see some local cat on a record from Tukwilla, and are curious what he sounds like.

And in terms of being known in my own region, I feel as though I have done a good job of establishing my name in this region. If you were truly involved in the NW hip-hop scene, you would already have know about me. Hip-Hop and recognition doesn't revolve around these forums. You need to get out in the real world, and experience real life. Who in the NW is really known? The only producers from the region that are known outside of it, and are getting real work are:
Bosko
Funkdaddy
Vitamin D
Jumbo
Jake One
Wolverine
Torry Ward
and a few others

And WE all started in the NW. I was in my basement in Portland doing real hip-hop records in 1985. The whole point of this game, is to expose your shit to the world. The NW is just a small part of that puzzle. If I was an up and coming producer, I would be proud for the next man, that has done what I was dreaming to do. Don't hate, congratulate.

You are in no position to educate any of the industry professionals on this site, because you aren't qualified. You are assuming what the record business is about. Think about who you are talking to, and think about what you are posting. You need to listen a little more, and stop talking so much.

And all of those plans that you have mentioned in the past are bullshit. None of them would work. There is the real world, and there is the fantasy land that you live in.
This thread is about my compilation that I am happy about putting out in 2003, not about your ignorant ass mis-informed posts.

Smit- I feel you on him wearing his ribbons a lil too strong but some comments (can't remember if they were yours or not) sounded like studyin at a JuCo was something to be ashamed of. The grimey need to start readin more, period. However it happens, from a juco to hooked on phonics. Cats need to start readin and start votin'.

Tadou, maybe Bosko is not liked in your circle of friends in Aberdeen as well as your pm circles on this heah internet; but fuck around with the NW elite for a minute as I have had the chance to and we all agree on his level of stature in the game. I'm from the Tri-Cities, dogg, an area of predominately caucasion and latino peeps; and all the headz out there recognize him by name. And thats in the Tri-Cities. Its the same in Yakima, Spokane, Tacoma, Portland, Boise and pretty much everywhere else up here. No dick ridin', you are saying cats don't know he's from here? A few may not, but we all knock his tracks (I personally pledged faith after his work on E-40's "Element of Surprise"<dude did a third of the album and they all knock "Zoom" is a classic>) and that's all that matters.

If your friends aren't aware Bosko is from the NW, I'm sure you now have plenty of educational material to provide them with.
