shit all we need is lsu to lose now
Yep b/c if the Big 12 winner ends up w/ 0 or 1 losses, then they will jump Oregon b/c of the quality wins the last 2 weeks of the season.

This is the situation where I think Les Miles was wrong, where not having a conference championship games hurts the Pac-10. Say Oklahoma or Missouri ends up winning the Big 12, I'm not so sure that they would be able to jump Oregon if Oregon's remaining schedule was Arizona, UCLA, Oregon State and then Arizona State or USC in a theoretical Pac-10 Championship Game. But w/ just Arizona, UCLA & Oregon State, I think one of them will jump Oregon.

Looking at the rankings, I'd say Kansas if they win out will jump Oregon.. Oklahoma is questionable, but they probably will and Mizzou won't jump Oklahoma if they win out.

I'd say most voters are gonna stick with 1. LSU, 2. Oregon... Because most people agree that those are the best two teams, and it'd be the best game.

Mizzou would jump Oklahoma if they win out b/c if they win out, that will include a win over Oklahoma in the Big 12 Championship game.

I think who ever wins out in the Big 12 may have a good chance at jumping Oregon..unless Oregon absolutely TRUMPS its next two opponents. Also, it would look good for them if Cal were to win out, since they took a loss to them AT HOME.

If Kansas wins out, and becuase they would be undefeated, they should move past Oregon.

If Mizzou wins out, they would have beaten an undefeated Kansas, and a one loss Olkahoma (assuming they win out). That would also prompt the voters to look at the SOS at the end of the season, and those two teams might put Mizzou over the top.

Kansas' remaing schedule:

Iowa ST
Mizzou

Mizzou's remainging schedule:

KSU
at Kansas

Oklahoma's remaining schedule:

at TTU
OKST

Now, if in all weird shit were to go down, and Oklahoma LOSES the next two games, guess who wisn the South? Thats right, Texas....if THEY win out.

Now you have a Texas team inching towards the top 10 in the BCS again, and they would face either Kansas or Mizzou, and if they win, that may clear the way for Oregon to be in the NC game.

Strap on your seatbelts, folks....its about to get REAL fuckin crazy in the next 3 weeks...

Oklahoma needs OKST to win out and make that game look real big, even thought it is a rivalry game already. They would be in better shape if they beat an undefeated KU team than a 1 loss Mizzou team, though....even though Kansas would have beaten a predicted #5 Mizzou team.

That need some type of playoffs or plus one in college football because someone looks like their prolly gonna get screw again, or a debate is going go on all off season saying who really suppose to been in the championship game (especially if one of the teams in the championship game gets blew out by the other) or we could end up with the grand old event of a split national championship that everyone "loves" so much.

all I know....is I tried damn hard to get tickets to the MU VS. KU game at Arrowhead...
But I am NOT paying $1500 for 4 tickets!!!!

Crazyyyyyyy

So I settled for 4 tickets to see them whoop Iowa State's ass this weekend...

JAYHAWKS are for real this year...the game against MU will be a real battle.

What I want to know is....what happens IF...Ku blows out Iowa state, MU loses to Kstate, and MU beats KU in a close game.

KU will get the Big 12 championship game based on wins & loses but I wonder what will happen.

youre all naive, no ones jumping oregon unless they get upset. the polls are gonna stay the same with oregon at 2 which is the most important thing. it really doesnt matter anyways cuz those big 12 teams are all gonna beat each other. oklahomas way too far behind oregon in the computer rankings, i think theyre 7th so theyre not gonna pass oregon no matter who they beat and kansas has played only two teams with winning records and barely. you guys can hope all you want but oregons just not gonna get jumped, its impossible, especially since the voters would rather see oregon lsu than any of those mediocre big 12 teams.

Then you say...

oregons just not gonna get jumped, its impossible, especially since the voters would rather see oregon lsu than any of those mediocre big 12 teams.
Someone needs to put the "chronic tea" down and sober up...

For one, Oregon has one loss, to a SLIPPING Cal team. The MORE they lose, the WORSE that loss looks...AT HOME I might add...and Kansas does NOT. If Kansas beats #5 Mizzou...and then goes to the Big 12 CG and beats #3 Olkahoma...there is a VERY good chance that Kansas can jump Oregon...as Oregon has already played its bulky part of its schedule.

Right now Saragian has Oregon with a SOS of 19, Kansas 52, and Mizzou 69. However, that will CHANGE once they start goin head to head...The Ducks still play shitty AZ and mediocre OSU...those dont help your SOS..

Oklahoma 7th? Homie, they are 3rd...right on Oregons tale.

Oreogn needs to win BIG against Az and OSU in order to look good...and hope the Big 12 teams DO beat up on eachother.

I guess you are having severe memory loss...do I need to remind you when Oregon at #2 gettin left out of the NC game 6 years ago? De ja vu can be a muthafucka...

But maybe you were too young to remember that.
