because of our economy, it may fail, however the way that its worded, it may scare people into voting for it....

after reading the full text of the proposition, it clearly states that it will lead to MORE PRISONS BEING BUILT, because now a gang member 14 years or older who commits a violent crime or even burglary will be subject to a indeterminate sentence, a.k.a. LIFE...all that means is that you dont have a set release date, they can just deny you parole FOREVER...

on top of that, prop 6 makes neighborhood injunctions easier for the DA to get, makes it an actual crime if you violate the injunction, makes commiting a crime in the injunction neighborhood a felony, and makes not registering as a gang member a felony.

add prop 9, the victims rights bill, which lets the victim help decide if you get parole, or even get BAIL, the jails and prisons are going to be PACKED

THEY PUT ALL THESE FOOLS IN THE PEN AND DONT OFFER NO COLLEGE COURSES OR EVEN GED CLASSES(IN SOME PENS) OR ANY NEWER VOCATIONS SO A CONVICT CAN BETTER THEMSELVES. Real Shit man, Definetly this will hurt our kids, Instead of doing this they should try and rehabilitate foos in the pen and help the schools and programs not take away from it, and make a props like 6 to make life harder on foos then it already is....

Whats fucked up is thats most likely gonna pass N it jus opens the door for alot of wrongful sentencing! cause even if you dont bang you get popped wearing the wrong color your fucked! they (well sjpd for sure) always try to put you on gang file for anyreason! this is gonna be all bad!

heres what will be law:

all gang members must register like sex offenders

any gang member 14 years or older charged in a crime is automatically treated as an adult.

new gang enhancement for any felony = 10 years mandatory

backround checks once per year if you live in publuic housing, no felons or gang members will be allowed to live in public housing...
