Once in a blue moon.they may work together ,but then it's back to the same thing. If La Eme didn't pick on the younger Chicanos from the North back in the days.I'm sure this wouldn't of happened with the Norte & Sur being created and Califas would of been as one,But they did and the LNF was created to protect them from getting harmed. It's gotten like that with some Latinos aswell,like LA Neta and Latin kings and so forth.
wait so ur sayin that nuestra familia started to protect northern youngsters? are u sure? cause that's what la eme was supposed to be for, all mexicanos/chicanos united. guess we know how that turned out though. to the one who said it was all about pride, thanks for being honest, but you should really stop and think about this, re-weigh the pros and cons here and look at all the good reasons to unite and bad parts of not uniting vs being proud. is pride really THAT important to you?
to krazy, have you atleast thought about encouraging your kids to take the opposite path in life? you said you can't go back, and your kids are already young enough to make the right decisions before it's too late and they find themselves saying "i can't go back". and i wouldn't say you're completely different people, look at all that u have in common with them! same race, ancestors, same 2 languages in most cases, even some parts of the culture are the same like lowriders and locs, plus some of the rest of the style, sometimes nortenos even use the calo slang. you have more in common than you think, maybe more than you'd like to admit. you don't all have different beliefs. belief in la virgen, belief in your familia's importance, pride in your culture, i bet you and them have alot of beliefs in common. and it ain't right that you'll never get along, it sounds more like you just don't want to.

la eme did start to protect all Califas chicanos in the pinta,but As the years went on La eme Got tired of the ones who weren't strong to be part of La EME and then keep picking on the younger weak chicanos who lived in the North that looked like they weren't strong enuff .The one they picked on were farm workers from the north of Califas.They didn't feel they needed the Younger chicanos who were farm workers being part of La EME.Back then alot of farm workers were young trying to make it in the U.S. to support their familias.The Northen Chicanos In LA EME saw that they need proctection and formed the LNF to protect them from LA EME and other inmates since they weren't being protected anymore.Yeah

On the Pride issue.The homie asked why do we still fight against each other meaning sur and norte.In the pinta it's different,but on the streets is another.People who tend to get out of a gang still have the pride of what they were and it stays with them on who they are.I know their's other reason,but Like I said on my other notes"in my opinion" it's pride.I can't speak for others..
