actually Nelly came pretty clean on the track, what you expect me to do kiss his ass all of a sudden. The industry is on some bullshit, thats why the bay gets no love, you have to make a dance, club, or some simple bullshit track to get any attention these days.

i've never been a nelly fan, but this song made me laugh..& whether or not that was its intention, i still got a few minutes of entertainment out of it, so i gotta give credit where credit is due...

on a side note, i seen this clip of him, murphy lee, and consequence rappin on the mic... now i don't know if nelly freestyle / wrote what he was spitting into the mic, but to my surprise, he tore that shit the fuck up... i had a newfound respect for him after that (assuming that he concocted that shit)... but too bad a majority of his music still isn't to my liking

Of course it's not gonna sound natural; he's not Spice 1, Too Short or E-40. But it was, like everyone else has said, a respect thing being shown to the Bay Area. I am not a Nelly fan by far, but I do give him props for the song. Also, I don't remember David Banner catching as much shit when he did "Westside" on his "Certified" album. Was he "sucking the Bay's dick"? The song (Nelly's) wasn't the best thing in the world, but it was good.

I respect dudes hustle, but it would have been better to have NELLY rap 3 verses in his usual style, or else he could have always just got Too Short and E-40 on it. I was really looking forward to this, not bad, but not the greatest either.
