If you want to bring in something other than the same people over and over again (and 4% female attendance), you're going to have to think outside these forums.

The consensus on here might think the likes of Cassidy, Beanie Siegel, David Banner, etc. are garbage, but there's legions of fans with money to spare that would disagree. It's cool to reward West Coast vets with shows here and there, but you gotta be realistic. A one-hit or two-hit wonder is gonna sell more tickets than a no-hit wonder.

You gotta stop targeting only the west-coast, system-in-the-trunk generation and go after the still-listens-to-KUBE, iPOD-generation.

Money is nice, but really, its beyond a paycheck. If rappers wanted to tour areas where there was going to be fights, heckling, and people acting like assholes, they could do that in Sacramento, San Jose, etc (or even KC, Houston, St Louis)--and make a lot more cash doing it. Bigger venues, more people, less laws and regulations.

Up here people are (allegedly) more educated and well-behaved than that, so if we can prove perception is reality--and major artists don't feel they have to bring a 20-person entourage just to protect themselves--they'll be willing to come out here for a lot less money, and in bigger numbers.

Its all part of a bigger plan where, all the pieces are out there (Youtube, MySpace, etc.), but nothing connecting them all together in a way that really makes sense to the outside world
