God damn some of you sound like jackasses about cars. Dude, buy whatever you want, if the looks are worth $4k to you then go for it, your the one that has to drive it/look at it, just take care of whatever you get.
what this man said! fuck for 4k do what you want just make sure it will last a few years. obviously carfax and have a homie mechanic check it out. we're obviously not talking about a lifelong promise so just do what you want. oh and shall I say FUCK YEAH AMERICA! motorcity

I personally wouldn't buy either one of those piece of shits as they are not the top of the line models.

Your budget is slightly low, so well, get whatever you can afford.

I bought a 2006 Acura RSX Type-S for $11,000 with 11K miles 2 years ago. Fast, looks good, good on gas and reliable. You can probably find a similiar or even better deal now.

With your budget and the budget I had when buying my car, I'd honestly go with a Japanese manufacture. If your going to buy a 4-6 banger, I personally wouldn't go American. Americans build V8's and they build them best when their top models.

Id get the Chrysler, cheaper less miles for the same sized engine> no point having a charger with no heat. 2.7 isn't gonna push that tank around with much grace

I mean if you really think about it, a maybach is the only choice, that way you can pull up on bitches and say

"bitch I'm cold blooded, but the leather seats are heated"

and smash the fuck off!!!!

Here's another pro Dodge post. My last two cars have been Dodge and i've got nothing but good things to say. Back in 2003 I bought a 2000 Dodge Stratus with 55,000 miles on it and it ran great, never had any kind of issues. In 2006 I bought a 2006 Magnum 3.5L SXT and have never had any issues with that either, still have that car 4 years later and it runs great.

Don't buy a 2.7 I think the problems were worked out by 06 and 07 but in the Charger it will be way too slow. I drove a 2002 Intrepid with the 2.7 and put over 70k miles on it in 4 years. The head gasket blew at 145k and I sold it. The early 2.7's in the LH cars are known to be bad because of engine sludge and a bunch of other problems that cause engine failure. I would go with a Charger but get the 3.5 or the v8 (v8 is probably out of your price range) the 2.7 in the Intrepid (a much lighter car) was enough power but it wasn't anything great. The older 3.5's are solid and I don't know much about the 3.5 they used in the LX cars but they should be similar. I didn't have any more problems with my Intrepid than your typical car but with any car it is about how you maintain it.
