I'm attracted to lower price and lower miles. Neither of these cars have ever been on my wanted list and I don't consider them to be cool, but they seem to be a good deal and I need a new car.

2006 Chrysler Sebring Touring White 2.7 v6 62,000 miles = 4,500

2007 Dodge Charger base Slate color 2.7 v6 69,000 miles = 8,800

Charger looks nicer, but $4,000 nicer? Plus the sebring is only one year older and has fewer miles.

I checked on both and they are both priced below blue book value.

I should be able to get a few g's for the car I have now so the Sebring could be more than half way paid off after selling my current car.

what about spare parts costs though? Honda can be expensive.
All car repairs are expensive if you are paying a shop.

My co-workers Dodge story:

Has a 2007 Dodge (the one that looks like a medium magnum)

Tranny goes out, she gets it replaced. $6000

That was 2 months ago. Now the electrical is on the fritz. Not worth fixing.

To tell you the truth, I would take the cash and invest in an old school and drive in style. You could do the repairs and maintenance yourself.

really?

so you own or have owned a dodge?

I have not had 1 problem, nor has the people I know or car clubs I fuck with, with their dodges.

& I do not think CB is low on money vs trying to be economical
Yup. 2006 Dodge Magnum R/T off the showroom floor. After owning it for a couple months, I wasnt impressed and let it go.
