With all the major upgrades in the East on losing teams, I don't think the Heat have a chance to make the playoffs...Shaq was done 2 years ago after he won another ring. They rely too heavily on D-Wade, they wore him out and he got hurt, it was bound to happen. They don't have a second option. Celtics do have a good team on paper, but chemistry remains to be seen and their depth is lacking with exception to the SG spot. They need a better PG than Rondo, and signing a combo shoot-first guard in Eddie House ain't gonna do it. They are solid at SG, Ray Allen and Tony Allen are a great duo at that spot.

Rondo
Ray Allen
Paul Pierce
Kevin Garnett
Kendrick Perkins

That lineup spells half-court offense, and they need a PG to run things and make good decisions. But then again Pierce likes to the run the offense as well. The East will be exciting to watch this year as spots are up for grabs. The West will be fun to watch with everybody fighting for the last 3 spots.
VERY WELL PUT, FOR THE CELTICS THOUGH, U ALWAYS NEED A GOOD PG BUT AT THE SAME TIME, THEY GOT VETS THAT KNOWS THE GAME AND KNOWS IT WELL. TOGETHER THEY WILL DO GOOD. CHEMISTRY WILL GROW QUICK FOR PIERCE, ALLEN, AND GARNETT. WHERE RONDO LACKS, PIERCE WILL PICK UP

why is everyone doubting the Knicks in the east..its not like they are in the west...lol

have you guys actually looked at their roster yet? if they can't crack #8 spot this year i will stop being a fan of theirs, if they play like they are capable of playing all year they will easily be a top 5 team in the east.

The knicks have had some pretty solid player the past few years...

And also...up a couple spots...about the Clippers and Livingston...they Clipperes just signed Brevin Knight. That should help some...

And Bibby could be available somewhere...rumor has Miami interested.

forreal... if he means on "paper" i guess you can say so.. but anyone who watched portland hated to see it enter zbos hands and stay there for 8 seconds before he decides to pump fake, then hold it some more and look around.. then hold it and eventually shoot a baby hook that missed more then half the time... only way he was keepin up his 20 point average was from the freethrow line most nights...

now ALDRIDGE on the other hand.... watch how much he flourishes with zbo gone...

damn its gonna be painful to watch zbo and curry get BANGED on.. shit wasnt zbo the second most blocked player last year??

im glad to see him out the way so the young bucks can get there elbows dirty

If it wasnt for David Lee the Knicks wouldnt have gotten rid of Frye, Frye is a Kurt Thomas without rebound/defensive skills. I would take Randolph over Frye anyday of the week.
