With all the major upgrades in the East on losing teams, I don't think the Heat have a chance to make the playoffs...Shaq was done 2 years ago after he won another ring. They rely too heavily on D-Wade, they wore him out and he got hurt, it was bound to happen. They don't have a second option. Celtics do have a good team on paper, but chemistry remains to be seen and their depth is lacking with exception to the SG spot. They need a better PG than Rondo, and signing a combo shoot-first guard in Eddie House ain't gonna do it. They are solid at SG, Ray Allen and Tony Allen are a great duo at that spot.
Rondo
Ray Allen
Paul Pierce
Kevin Garnett
Kendrick Perkins
That lineup spells half-court offense, and they need a PG to run things and make good decisions. But then again Pierce likes to the run the offense as well. The East will be exciting to watch this year as spots are up for grabs. The West will be fun to watch with everybody fighting for the last 3 spots.
