Congrats to the Celtics; the fact that they had the right mindset and bigger hearts as a whole won this, IMO. Lakers big men are soft, period. Physically and mentally.
Pierce should be carried on someone's shoulders during the parade; what a performance.
Celtics obvious favorites in the east for next season, and I would put the Lakers towards the top in the west. As much as I like Fisher, I think they need to look at acquiring a PG in the offseason. With Bryant, Odom, Bynum, and Gasol rounding out the lineup, the starters are solid. Maybe look for a role player or two (ie Boston, with Posey, etc). Bynum's inclusion into the lineup has the potential to be huge, alongside Gasol and Odom in the frontcourt.
But that's next year. I enjoyed the entire season this year, and with Boston (who I picked with Detroit to be tops in the west), and the Lakers (who I picked 8th) both having great seasons, we were shown the better team in the finals.
Next, the draft. Derrick Rose, welcome home.
