LOL on a serious note, I swear some of you kids have never watched an NBA finals game before (You know who you are). You see someone breathe on a Celtic and you start jumping up and down like your scoop of ice cream just hit the floor. Prime Example: "The Kobe steal". They showed the video a dozen times and you NEVER see him touch Paul Peirce. Yet here you go bitching because your team is getting beat. This is playoff basketball- The idea is to let them play, let them be as physical as possible. Since the beginning of basketball and long after your gone there are going to be "bad calls" and "no calls", IN EVERY SPORT. The only difference is the people who watch these games and don't understand whats going on.

If the game is fixed then stop watching it; it's obvious that even if your team wins it's only because they were picked to win. It's funny because these kids will tell you the NBA is fixed then when their team wins they parade around the board like they knew their team was the best!

LMAO!

Just watch the game and enjoy it.

It was close but I think Kobe fouled on the play... just keepin' it real. Maybe the refs had a bad angle on it and decided not to call a foul since they didn't have a good enough vision. But then you could look at it like it was a make up call for the foul that was called on Kobe when he was covering Pierce at the end of game 4.

or you could look at it as no real contact was made and pierce should have been more careful with the ball. or you could look at the bullshit charge odom got earlier in the game. or you could stop blaming the refs for the loss and look at the free throws garnett missed........

So all the laker fans think the Kobe steal was clean and the Celtics fans think it was an obvious foul. Well I watch the replay a couple of times in slow motion and Kobe definitely made contact with Pierce back side trying to steal the ball, but I can see the refs letting it go for several reasons. I dont believe that one steal cause them the game. Oh well, on to Boston for 6.

garnett missing the free throws was bigger than the obviously bad no call on kobe. when the ball is in your hands and you blow it, its your fault. period. he makes those free throws this is a whole new game. garnett couldnt get his groove being in foul trouble most of the game.

Garnett didn't come through on the free throws, or the put back, which he should've dunked and not tried to tip in.

Paul Pierce is a fucking beast though, and although I hate Boston, I'm rooting for a few of their players to get a ring.

Powe, Pierce, KG, The Martian Cassell, and Jesus Shuttlesworth.

The point is when he missed the free throws. Close game and those throws would have kept the game close. Your clutch players hit those shots like its nothing. He did jack shit in the 4th - didn't call for the ball, didn't take gasol or anyone, just through it away several times. I don't think he could have dunked the tip, but he should have made it. It was right at the rim and he the ball all to himself (relatively speaking). I think he'll bounce from this cause he's is a great player and I think watching the tape of him in the 4th will motivate him.

i'm not sayin that the refs single handedly gave the game to the lakers cause they didnt. garnett didnt fucking help either. after watching the game with less emotion i realized that the game was well reffed until the 4th though. we were going to the basket EVERY time and when we got mauled they wouldnt call nothing which is normally cool. but on the other side u have guys faking like they getting hit and getting the call every time. then u have rondo who smoked crack and went out and played. he for no reason slammed into fisher for that and 1. and then had a terrible turnover so he didnt help either. all i know is KG is an energy based player and does his best with the fans on his side instead of booing. IMO we take it tonight but if it goes 7 i'll still be happy as long as we win it

pretty much. when youre at home and have garnett on the bench almost the entire first half and in foul trouble the second, get some gimme calls late in the game, have your opponent miss 2 crucial free throws, blow 14 and 19 point leads in the same game, and you only win by 6? at home? garbage. l.a. is lucky theyre still playing at all. the games they won, boston was absolutely horrible and sloppy. so for l.a. to win, they are going to have to have a lot more than luck and shitty play by boston 3 games in a row. not likely to happen.
