This thread is very interesting. The video was kind of lame. What happened to the native americans was fucked up. But that was many years ago. Not the protesters fault, but fuck the protesters too. America should be for anyone who wants to hop the borders. I'm a 7th or 8th generation Oregonian and have journals from my ancestors from when they came over on a ship and settled near Hood River Oregon. The Northwest will always be my home, and the connection we have will be there til the time I leave the earth.

When it comes down to it we are all in this life together. But it is the
Native/Indigenous peoples who are speaking out against the inequities and
destructrion of out life source. Water, land, air which is vital to all
of us as being humans. The use of racism is a divide and conquer mentality
is used as tool to deceive. It is our responsibility as beings to protect
those elements as it is vital for our survival as human beings. This is
the restance of colonialization.
As long as the systematic racism continues white folks will continue to
benefit from the worngs of their ancestors. It is easier to say get over
it when you still benefit from that said oppression. That same oppression
uses eurocentric mentality of nationalism to divide the indgenous peoples
of this continent known as the Amerikkkas.
