Guns dont make people killers. Killers will murder you with a plastic spork if they really want you dead. Like I said, the "bad guys" will carry regardless. Give the lawful citizen rights to protect themselves. Have a guy on crack break into your home while your family is asleep and you have no firearm and he does. Have the same happen while you do have a firearm. Which scenario would you rather have?

^ home defense isn't the problem.

Its findng the line who and where can hold outside the home. I think if you own a legal firearm you should carry. Its hard problem to solve a lot of "I can handle it - but that person can't "

Exactly, having it at ur home has nothing to do with this. It's unconstitutional at the very least. Why should California respect any other state's gun laws? You come HERE, you deal with what we vote on HERE. that's the very point of our constitution. And where is the line drawn? You can go to a bar with a gun on ur hip?
