Jim Carrey is not funny, its his writers. Man in the Moon was his best movie only because he was Andy Kaufman. the only other remotely funny shit was ace ventura, but the novelty wears off quick.

Are you referring to stand-up comedians or comic actors??? Cause I don't ever think I've seen Jack Black or Will Ferrell do stand-up...and both are very funny in the right project...Jack Black in "High Fidelity" funny as fuck..."Nacho Libre" not so much...

Same as Will Ferrell, never been a big fan...in "Elf" or "Anchorman" really funny..."SNL" or ummmm..."Kicking and Screaming" boring...

And personally I think Dane Cook is really funny...everyone gets on him about his lack of actual jokes, like set-up/punchline type jokes, but the dude flat out makes me laugh!!!!
