Are you all menstruating? This thread comes across as bitchy in my opinion. It is lacking a positive message. I understand the concept of constructive criticism but this comes across as piss and moan to me. It seems like the number of critics have grown exponentially. Instead of coming across with some nitpicking bullshit how about voicing your 2 cents about what you think would be cool.

For instance,

I think it would be cool if strange started an annual show here in the kc area that showcased all the strange music artists. I would love to see something like that put into motion. Let kalico do a few of his tracks, kutty could do his set, skatterman and snug brim could shut it down, critical bill could rock the house and tech could put the icing on the cake. That would be fucking sick... annual organizing of the strangers...

one thing I'd like to see Nebulizah improve upon.....
conveying your opinion while remaining positive for the greater good.

p.s.
don't be catchin feelings over this shit.... It's just constructive criticism about eliminating negativity.
how u gonna get supremely butthurt and ask others to not catch feelings? fuck outta here...

I would like to see him do more tracks with dope MCs. Like Crooked I, Pharoahe Monch, Eminem, etc. Also drop a new dvd and make some new music vids. As for beats I have no problem with the producers he works with.

He tried to get more of a mainstream feel on his last album and use bigger named producers, mlk was way better than expected. The bottom line is if he wants to get bigger he has to get songs on the radio. You can be big underground and talented and have an amazing fan base and make some good amount of $ etc. To get much bigger he'd have to go major. When mlk debuts about the same as his other albums and it has way less promotion...I think he's peaked at his current position. He'll have to take a different direction to get bigger.

i think he's as good as it gets with rap these days, i mean yeah the beats can be better but we talkin bout tech not the producers, the only thing i think he can improve is the people he tours with. Kmk is good for the type of ppl who like kmk but it would be nice to see a more hip hop based show then potheads and juggalos but thats my opinion. regardless if he tours with fuckin hanson i will be there to support him 100% but it would be nice to be releived from the music that opens up for him 80% of the time

nobody's perfect, not even your favorite rapper....

personally, I'd like to see him surround himself with a better supporting cast, besides Krizz Kalico who is definitely nice...

and for Tech himself, I'd really like to see him record a little less party shit, I dont need 8 songs about bitches money and liquor on every CD... I'd also like to see him use his versatility a little more on his hooks, instead of relying on Kalico for a good hook
this also supports ways of getting a hit... Dude just said what alot of cats been wanting to say for a while... I like the artists on mlk but shit this next album needs to be different..

I like a lot of his beats so I'm not sure why so many people are down on his beats. That being said I wouldn't mind seeing him use more producers.

I'd like to see him tour with some actual rappers instead of rock bands and groups like KMK and ICP.

I also agree that I don't need some bullshit fake sex in the beginning of songs, sounds kind of lame when you pull up to a stop light and that shit is playing.

Other than that I would like him to keep doing what he do.

Killer needs to be a Tech N9ne album... not a strange music album...

I just want more Tech, fuck having Kalico do every hook and chorus...and having too many features...have 2 or 3 songs with the strange dudes...1 or 2 big features and have the rest be Tech...

I thought Everready was a great album...but I didnt like how skatt and snug made it onto the opening track...and how the first 3 tracks had other people on it....

Everready was deep, but only in certain places...i need the whole album to feel like The Melancholy Maze felt...

Every one has great opinions, I agree with most of them! Mainly just less songs that all talk about Bangin all kinds a broads, I think I have heard just about every type of a Pary/Sex song I can handle. (More personal lyrics excluding his sexual relations).

i see what ur sayin but if the WHOLE album was like that then that would be waaaay too much sadness and shit like that. u need the songs that get u wild and hyphy and u need the songs u can just chill too. i think everready was perfect witht the exception of ss bein on riotmaker they just didnt fit IMO. everything fit so well and he spread out different plots of music well.

My World was sad? ROOT was sad? ehh not really...just deep..yeah I guess The Rain was sad....

Yeah I think there should be some hype songs for sure...just 1 or 2...not 3 or 4

And yes I agree Everready was laid out very well...I loved the album..one of the best albums you could buy...

But I want Killer to hit on another level....I need it all to have a serious tone...an album where Tech doesnt come lightly on any of the tracks...you could say a couple everready tracks had a lighthearted feel...with bout to bubble and jellysickle...shit even Its what you thinkin and caribou lou...I need Tech to just rip every verse to shreds and flex that lyrical muscle...

I need to hear him growl again before the verses...when he used to do that...thats when he WENT OFF and said some OTHER shit....

lol, fuck a serious tone...
you can put out good music without being raw, gutter and growling..
you gotta have stuff for parties and rides, tech seems to do a pretty good job in that department, everready for example. However, kaliko on like every song is ridiculous..

Tech will put plenty of party tracks and bangers for the rides no doubt... but I need to see more of what Tech really is....and putting out an album strictly for the parties and club hits isnt him...

Tech is at his best when hes coming from the heart with songs like riotmaker, welcome to the midwest, come gangsta, myworld, root, therain, this is me....

id hate to see too many songs like bout ta bubble or jellysickle....

i didnt read any of this shit...so sry if this was said already...but

id like to see tech not change producers so much...or at least have a different way of going about producers then he does now...
tech doesnt need better beats, he needs to stop changing around producers for every album. and i also understand that the beats give the album a certain feel to it...but still...

i feel tech should, instead of having 2 or 3 producers for the whole album, have a bunch of producers and have them back for next albums.
