ON the streets here in Fresno mutts 90% of the time are just flamed up and dont bang F-14. they bang shit like parkside, eastside, highway city, or street names with BDS after there name. I mean there are still some mutts that sport F-14 tatts, but they are the minority fo sho. their tags are usually like ESF, PSB and shit like that with a paw drawn out. they also cross out the "s" in their tags in the more recent years. again I am talking about the streets during this time in Fresno.
When I lived there in 94 and earlier (b4 YA and bouncing from fresno to lindsay) it was an issue to us nortenos there. It was like we used F-14 cause prior to 88 it meant 100% you were ene. then like in 91 or so nortenos didnot want to associate with F-14 some did but most of us didnt. so the mutts turned the 14 to Nation instead of Norte. We were told as little homies to use X4 or XIV and to do this so we would be showing that we didnt run with F-14.
I never knew that this abandonment of the 14 existed outside of Fresno. I have been coming around Fresno more and more and I know of nortenos from there to use 14 like it aint no thang. cause there in Fresno 13=scrap 14=norte BDS= mutt.
blue=scrap red=bulldog or norte. most ppl there automatically assume that if you flamed up your a mutt. I dont know how many times Ive had to tell squares that I was a norteno.
Ive talked to homies that were locked up like 3 years ago and they told me that mutts from the Fresno area werent using F-14 but Bulldogs as their signifier. and that Fallouts from outside the Fresno area were brought in and they were the ones using the F-14 to show they were part of the nation. Fuck their nation they a bunch of washed up out of work nortenos.
All I am trying to point out is that most mutts in Fresno now were never enes they just bang it cause their veteranos do. they dont see themselves as fallouts but they see themselves as above sur or norte. Either way I say fuck them. A mutt is and will always be my rival,
I am saying this cause alot of times it sounds like ppl on here think that every mutt used to be an ene and that is not the case. most of the mutts in fresno younger than 20 are not confused, they have been mutts since day one. the whole mutt shit did start from Norte dropouts but now thier shit spread to Fresno youth and they picked up on it. most of them dont know the real reason that they funk with norte they just do it cause we aint mutts.
