Rap star Mystikal is accused of raping a woman with two other men at his home and attempting to accuse the woman of theft. Much of the alleged attack was videotaped, police said.
Mystikal, whose real name is Michael Tyler, surrendered to authorities in Baton Rouge, LA, and was booked on an aggravated rape charge, police said. He was released on $250,000 bond.
Leland Ellis, 36, and Vercy Carter, 34, of Baton Rouge, turned themselves in and were booked later in the day. Bond had not been set for either at JET press time.

All three were also charged with extortion. Authorities say they threatened to tell police that the woman had received checks from the rapper's account without his permission. The extortion charge accuses Tyler of demanding oral sex in exchange for his agreement not to turn the woman over to police.
The rapper is accused of attacking the 40-year-old woman after she showed up at his house around 8 p.m. on July 3 to braid his hair. He allegedly raped the woman in front of the two other men, then each of the others allegedly raped her.
"During the attacks, the victim was repeatedly threatened with prosecution of the checks and great bodily harm," a police statement alleged. "The victim was allowed to leave the residence after the attacks," police said. "She was treated and released at a local hospital."
According to allegations in the arrest warrant, Tyler ordered the woman to go into his room and undress, then made her perform oral sex on him while he called his friends on the phone. She told police she complied because she was afraid, the warrant said.
The woman told police she was forced to have sexual intercourse with Carter and forced to perform oral sex on Ellis while being videotaped, the warrant said.
Among the items detectives confiscated from Tyler's home was a videotape that "confirmed that the accused and two co-defendants had sexually assaulted the victim," the warrant said.
If convicted of the aggravated rape charge, Tyler would face a mandatory life sentence. The penalty for extortion carries a prison term of 1 to 15 years.
