i got real sick 2 weeks ago for a week and a half, coughing blood and all..i was afraid to go to the hospital because i didnt want any shots and i worked it out on my own by exercisizing and eating right...tylenol some cough syrup and pain meds and hella tea....i just bounced back like last week

dunno if it was swine flu but it was a really really bad flu, i had fluid in my lungs and all, i had to quit smoking for a hot 1.

I had it too, but it wasn't even that bad really. I went to bed early for a few days and felt a little shitty, that's it!

also, i got it from a 7 year old girl. she got diagnosed and was sick for a few days, but never was her life in danger as far as i know

@ D-Fresh - I don't want any kids to have swine flu, or any other sickness, obviously. It's just not much different from the flu. Lately I'm just getting upset at the society of fear that exists presently, and this is just another example of it. Did you have the flu or get really sick as a kid? I did, as did most people. But you get over it, you build immunities, and hopefully you don't become yet another over-medicated, unhealthy person. My point is that this swine flu thing is being taken way too far. I hope threadstarter's son gets healthy, of course, I'm just responding to what seems to be the overriding opinion on this stupid swine flu thing.
