90% of his life is partying, what do you expect?

Id rather hear a song about a party than a song about doing some paperwork for Strange Music.
I expect a little more creativity. Yeah, dude writes about his life, but that doesn't have to limit himself to that. Sleeping Beauty is a prime example of him being creative. He took a thought he had about a chick at the movies, and turned into something more.

Why can't he do that more?

I would prefer a little more variation in subject matter on Tech N9ne's tracks.. partying, sex and women become a little monotonous after a while.. regardless of my own personal tastes, Tech N9ne is still putting out quality music.. period.

I am interested in seeing how K.O.D. turns out.. Like I Died, In The Trunk and Blackened The Sun are refreshing to hear from the stereotypical sleeping with bitches and partying that has been the norm for a while now..

Tech has sucked for 6 years. He uses beats that fuckin suck and almost every fuckin song he makes now on some club/pussy shit and the ones that ain't are on some crybaby/emo shit. Fucker might as well get T Pain or Akon on a track.
So your honestly saying that Tech N9ne hasn't produced any tracks that have not "sucked" in the past 6 years because I feel that is a very ignorant statement, even from the harshest of Tech N9ne cynics..

I know you didn't quote me, but I'll respond anyways.

-Most of the features didn't live up to the billing of "being lyrically sick"
-Auto-tune. It's garbage.
-Lame hooks.
-Tech parties, we get it.

Yeah, that about sums it up.

I respect your opinion, so no hate directed towards you.

I don't think that he's features ARE the best he could get so we are on the same page there. They aren't horrible but anybody on a track with Tech will sound weaker if you are a hardcore N9ne fan. He must see something in them in order to put them on his songs so I don't bitch about it too much. I have however thought some songs would be a lot better if it were all Tech but you have to give some of these catz a chance to rap.

He didn't overuse auto-tune on Sickology 101. I'm used to hearing it overused which has ruined it for anyone else who tries to incorporate it in a song. I thought Blown Away was done perfectly, especially the hook and the high horse part.

I'm just curious what hooks you thought sucked? ( Once again I'm not hating )

K.O.D. will be excellent if all of the songs are like the snippets I've been hearing so far.

I remember hearing Tech say recently he's making some of the best music he's ever made so he has some self-contentment in that retrospect.

Just like everybody said Encore sucked when Eminem released it but on "My First Single" he even says: I am on top of my game that shit is not gonna change/

So us the fans can tend be too critical when in reality we really just want more. More Tech songs, always. I think if you or I were to hang out with Tech N9ne for a year and see what his life is filled with , we would understand his music even better.

What do you think?

Boy some of you motherfuckers want Tech to be in dark, bad place. I have known this cat for a long time, and he writes his life, in order for some of that shit to come back he is gonna really have to be going through it again. I guess as a friend more than a fan, I hope he doesnt have to go back to dark place like that. There are always gonna be the classics, and you can still pop'em in the CD player like always. In my personal opinion, I didnt like some of the features on Sickology, but Tech's flow all over the disk seemed like a man who has perfected the craft.

I just despise auto-tune. I know it was used only on the hook, but I still didn't like it at all. We can agree to disagree on that.

The hooks that I didn't like...Sickology 101, Ghetto Love, We Kixin' It, Nothin', In The Air, Blown Away, Party and Bullshit, Sorry n Shit and Creepin'.

I understand where his music comes from. He parties a lot. He fucks a lot of bitches. Cool. Where's the creativity though?

I guess you're right..."I'm just famous cuz I'm a fuck up and ya'll desire pain."

As a fan, I don't want him to have to again suffer through the shit he's suffered through, but I want his music to have some kind of creativity instead just a bunch of party tracks.

I will say his verses were solid for the most part, but the features and hooks killed the album for me. I'm not gonna listen to an album to hear parts of every song.

What do you think the best hook was?

Far Away and Red Nose are the two dopest hooks, by far. Midwest Choppers II was pretty tight as well.

I really don't think Tech Actually spends months writing...I bet they only pick up the pen when they have their studio sessions. But let's say tech spent a whole year writting Killer instead of the two months on the road and got all the exact features he wanted for the album do you think the album would have been better or the same??
