MY FUCKIN DAY

yeah my roomate got suspended from work for two weeks for slapping a girl on the ass. He came back from his two week suspension and then they fired him. So the whole two weeks he was suspended he could of been looking for a job. So he is flat broke for a month trying to find work. Im was basically supporting him with my money.
Now he has a job on a cruise ship for two months bartending. He got on the ship yesterday and goes from Alaska all the way thru the panama canal then he gets paid 15 g's. Then they fly him anywhere in the US.
Getting fired sucks only because yoour broke and it gets old sitting at home with nothing to do. But once you get a job it usally is a lot better then the one you lost.

THATS FUCKIN ILL!!!i been lookin into that shit hella bad,that would be so dope ,leavin frisco bay to travel to alaska or mexico while gettin paid to serve drinks to desperate housewives.

^^^and that 1k got taken out when i was movin alot of money around,i had around 8k,and i bought a motorcycle a laptop paid rent,hit the bars a lil too hard.but i know it is ultimetly my fault for lettin that big chunk of change go un-noticed.my boy was tellin me if i wouldnt have been in shock when i found out they fucked up my account,i could have easily gotten like 300 bucks jus for compensation.but its all good,i though that money was wasted,so its like free anyways...well not really,i did work for dem duckets

He went thru Cruise West. Its based in Seattle but if you get a job with them they will fly you to Seattle and go over the orientation and what not. And it didnt seem like it was that hard of a process, he faxed them his application, then he got three interviews and hired him. They do a backround check and do a piss test. God only knows how he passed his drug test because he smokes daily. He took some golden seal the day before and took the test the next day and passed.
The setback is that the work is 70 something hours a week. But you make REALLY good money, the cruise line suggests the guests to tip 12 dollars a day and then the money is accumulated and shared amongst the employees. Plus your making money and your on a ship so you cant spend the money.
He was also showing the list of the other people working on the boat. ALL girls except maybe a couple guys. He was also showing me the locations they go, Tahiti, Hawaii, Carribian, Japan, South East Asia. Not a bad gig.
