I tried all that. I aint just sat back and did nothing. I have AIG insurance. I did have state farm but they got too expensive for me. State farm who I still talk too my broker from there. She told me she wouldnt have covered it since i didnt insure the system before it was stolen. I dont have all my recepts but i could have got some made. My homie works at an audio shop in modesto off mcchenry and would have done it for free.

You're trying to say that you had a nice system in your car and you don't even have comprehensive coverage on your car? That might be the dumbest thing i've ever heard.

You don't have to have "special" coverage on your stereo. Just need comprehensive coverage that takes care of everything that happens to your car besides an accident.

And you don't need reciepts all the time. It helps, but not needed. A lot of times just a picture of your equipment is enough along with a police report. I made a report when my shit was stolen and I gave them the information on my friend's system which was over $5000. We took pictures of it and gave them to my insurance company and i got a check for $5000 minus my $500 deductable a few weeks later.

And ya I had pictures and turned them in also but they said since I didnt tell them about my stereo too insure it before they wont cover it.

never leave your system in your ride at a tow yard. I have heard so many stories about systems missing if you leave it there for the first night. Expect your shit to be gone. This partner of mine used to work at one and it was like a free for all not just him but everyone that worked there. It aint right, it is what it is. Unfortunately you will probably not get shit outta the tow yard but your insurance might help out.

Fuck all that additional coverage shit they be telling you. Just take no for an answer hell someone has to pay for that shit! I've known plenty of people who have had systems replaced with just basic full coverage and didn't even have half the shit they claimed to have. I can't stand insurance companies!

damn, this shit is fucked up!
I had this same shit happen to me but I was lucky in the end.

I had my car in a autobody shop one time and when I came to pick up my car my stereo was gone. Nothing special, just a piece of shit cd player that was actually on its last leg anyway. Im assuming some tweeker that worked at the shop stole it, funny because the cd player was a piece of shit and wasn't worth hardly anything.
Well I go up in the body shop straight furious at them motherfuckers telling them they owe me for the cd player. The older salesmen who charged my insurance for the body work told me that They were not responsible for stolen merchandise in car. but in the end I still got the body shop to replace my cd player with a new alpine one which still works to this day.

I was lucky because I thought of it as a free upgrade from my old piece of shit cd player.

who knows, maybe enough bitching in their face will get them to buy you new shit to shut you up.
Keep showing your face at the body shop and maybe they will help you out to get rid of you.
