most def @ safe & sound... one of my all time fav's. No matter how bad of a day I might be having.. that album always changes my mood for the better.

if you are talking strictly hip hop - criteria: listen to the whole cassette tape, cuz on cd it's too easy to skip to the next track. also, i have played these albums out, that i can no longer listen to them, since they are stuck in my fucking head for life. i played them the fuck out.

im so out of hip hop i cant even list ten, thats how bad its gotten. i really hate this kind of lists cuz most exclude a lot of underground hip hop, and the lists only promote the greatest mainstream pop culture hip hop.

  • Outkast - Aquemini
    Possibly one of my favorite Hip-Hop albums of all time. Andre and Big Boi's styles are different, and mesh together so well. Great album, front to back.
  • Bone Thugs-N-Harmony - E.1999 Eternal
    Back when the Bone Thugs were still unfuckwitable.
  • Mr. Lif - I Phantom
    When someone asks me for a good concept Hip-Hop album, this is one of two that comes out of my mouth.
  • Deltron 3030 - Deltron 3030
    This would be the other.
  • Tech N9ne - Anghellic
    Album that I can still thoroughly enjoy front to back, without skipping any tracks.
  • P.O.S. - Audition
    Definitely one of the better Hip-Hop albums that I've ever heard. P.O.S. has created an album that almost constantly jumps between Hip-Hop and Punk music.
  • A Tribe Called Quest - People's Instinctive Travels and The Paths Of Rhythm
    I remember finding this album on the side of the road one day, and taking it home, and loving it ever since.
  • Atmosphere - Lucy Ford: The Atmosphere EP's
    The first album I ever listened to by Atmosphere. I was hooked right away.
  • Pastor Troy - Face Off
    Pastor Troy may be over-working himself as of late, but his older work (including Face Off) were, and still are, great albums.
  • Linkin Park - Reanimation
    I see this one possibly getting the most "Wtf 90's Baby" out of all of the albums I posted, but if you look at the tracklist, it's a great album with some damn fine features. Features include... Kutmasta Kurt, Motion Man, Pharaohe Monch, Planet Asia, Aceyalone, Zion-I, Black Thought, Evidence, Chali 2na, and more...
