Some horrible news and my prayers go out to his family. I thought it was okay to smoke outside of a starbucks, i see people smoke and drink their latte's all the time. If dude picked up the chair the cop couldnt reason with him and talk to him like human being? Its strange that he wouldnt walk back to his car and call for back up where they couldve easily subdued him into proper restraint. 9 years in the force and he just didnt shoot him in the ass, that wouldve been more than enough. And im sure being a cop for 9 years he should know more restraint techniques than just grabbing his gun. He felt he got his ass whooped and needed some fatal reinforcement. And what pisses me off the most is they took testimony to the manager and other employees that are stupid enough to tell a more convincing story to reporters and investigators.

Yea, dude ultimately died over a cigarette. I think I'm going to go smoke in front of that Starbuck's when I get off work. I stay on the WestSide now, this took place a few blocks from where I live, so I know something else could have taken place. I can't drive home at night without seeing at least 5 or 6 cops driving down the same block...cause it's fuckin hot in those neighborhoods right now. Dude could have had backup in less than 3 minutes. He could have pulled his gun and told dude to stand back...and not shot. He could have used his baton, he could have used pepper spray, he could have used his training and flipped dude to the ground and cuffed him.

Starbucks on a Sunday Afternoon, I'm sure there were quite a few people over there. The cop jeopardized all innocent bystanders that were present.

reminds me of two incodents i know of... Both were wrong killings by cops, but one of em was kinda right if ya get me...

I reckon that bosnian guy wouldve killed that officer. We got a lot of kosovans and albanians, psychologically scarred victims of their past violent surroundings... dude prolly woulda killed the cop fa sho. Still smokin in places where you aint posed to, he coulda just said fuck you and shifted to the left or suttin. He made a few bad decisions in that scenario and ultimately paid the price, dude shoulda thought bout it and covered his back.

Exactly...they get away with way too much.

Oh, and the WestSide isn't as laid back as everybody thinks it is. They're in full force where I stay at all day every day, for obvious reasons. More towards Campbell is laid back, but you get off in the cuts towards 280, different story.

he probably should've shot him in the leg but who knows, the suspect could have pulled out heat and shot the pig. From what I heard they're trained to shoot to kill but i wasn't there so it's all speculation. On a side note, Fuck officers Pineda, Martinez, and Wilson of the SJPD. Hopefully they die a slow miserable death. lol I had to get that out.
