Ever peep the British House of Commons?
Blair has to go up against every significant party representative in the country and defend his positions. It's not some bullshit speeches like our legislative process, in which every candiadate knows how they are going to vote based on his campaign contributors. House of Commons they get out there and speak their piece and change opinions. If Blair says some dumb shit out there, he will literally be laughed at.
Bush could NOT hang in that situation.

 He was probably trying to order a burrito. Bush has a hard enough time speaking english.....
actually he spoke very good, of course he had a bit of an accent, but other than that he was saying the right things. come campaign time whenever he speaks to the Hispanic community he will speak in spanish

sidenote: have you ever heard Jeb Bush speak spanish. he speaks it PERFECTLY withOUT an accent.

That's because the Bushes have the advantage of having Hispanic relatives.
