sacra91siccness, you said

1. Setripn bloccstyle was successful because of lynches beats
2. doc only sounded good because of lynchs beats

Niether of which are true.

So you need to fess up to that mess first.

wtf, makin threads about some ooooooold ass shit.. @ this point every topic possible about sicx & doc has been re-hashed 50 million times on this site.

i guess its cool that every couple months some new kid discovers that classic sactown 90's gangster rap music that gave birth to this site, gets obsessed with it, & feels the need to post hella topics about it. it speaks volumes for how great that era was..

fuck a 90's baby though.

Naw, Doc without Lynch was still cool. Like someone said already, his guest appearances from that time were solid.

Whatever happened to make him stop repping GBC is what made his raps soft.
The only times he had some good verses post-Bombay was on the Nefarious album and on the Savages comp.

That said, all his diss songs were weak. He even dissed C-BO and that wasn't a good song at all.

Good posts Indo, wholly agree.

Taking everything into consideration, Setripn' was far superior than ITWCT. Needless to say, having Sicx not drop an album around 94-96 was alas a shame for a fan of Sac rap. Nigga Deep will be the closest thing to hearing how dope an album could have been from that period.
