Kokane is currently under review by Guiness Book of World Records for a NEW CATEGORY. That alone is something they seldom do. With over 300 major cameos/collaborations in 20 years, he will most likely hold the position for quite some time. There will be a concert/award ceremony this summer once everything is finalized.

Raine n' Lane n' Kokane THE ALBUM
Drops this summer. Production by Fastlane except "Leave it All Behind" produced by Auditory.

I thought it would be San Quinn. In that era of mid-late '90s to the early 2000's when every bay CD would put their features on the cover, whether a solo artist or compilation, it seemed like San Quinn's name was on the cover of every CD. His name was probably big enough for it to be considered a big feature on an up-an-coming artist's first album, but still small enough for those artists to afford the feature.

Quinn was on hella shit but not majority of the Bay shit back then like u may think. I own tons of Bay shit from the mid to late 90's & Quinn aint on 90% of it.

But I did hear that Quinn had the most collabs. I guess Kokane passed him up.

I'm not a Kokane fan but I give props to him. I guess he can live off collabs alone w/o even putting out an album

Check this out. Kokane been around since Eazy E and NWA. He's a GODFATHER like Cube, like Dre, like WC, like Kid Frost, Eazy, Pac... why wouldn't you give him props? Kokane HAS done way more features than these wack ass niggaz you're bringin up right now. Fuck boring ass San Quinn, and fuck that silly ass nigga Lil Wayne homie. Name another nigga that can rap and sing as dope as Koke. He really don't be gettin his just due. Has Puffy called up Quinn and asked to fly him out to NY for a collab? Has Ice Cube called up lil wayne and said "I love that one song on your album, lemme buy it PLEASE!" Has Snoop called up Quinn and said, "I'm tryna get back on in the west my nigga, let's record a whole album" Has Dre called up Lil Wayne and asked him to bust on his album? Has Quinn wrote for NWA?? I mean.. I aint makin this shit up. If you don't like Kokane and you say you from the west, eat a dick. At least bring up a quality candidate as an argument in this thread or just stop tryna act like you know some shit and give up the props. Is that so hard. And he doesnt just "live off of collabs". He got his own albums too.. You niggaz just started listenin to rap when pac died.

I think yo hothead ass need to RE-READ my post u qouted. I never dissed Kokane & I said "im not a fan but I give him props". How is that dissing him dumb ass? U riding on his nuts way too hard.

And u dissing Quinn don't mean shit to me cuz I'm not a Quinn fan while u doing all ur shit talking. And I kniw Kane got a few albums. I was saying he collabs so much(getting paid the whole time) that he don't need to make an album. He can lightwieght live off his collabs. I was half joking, half serious.

And FYI I'm not the one that originally brought up Quinn.

What other nigga can rap & sing as dope as Kokane? DEVIN THE DUDE!!!!!! That was an easy ass question.

Kokane has a very unique style but IMO he's a terrible rapper.

Somebody give this dude a hug. Nobody was ripping on Kokane we were just saying we think the record belongs to somebody else. So what if Quinn hasn't had the exposure Kokane has, he's still a great and well respected rapper.

It's a good thing you are able to type your arguements on this message board because it would be very difficult for you to verbally state this arguement with Kokane's dick in your mouth.

I think Evil Genius hit it on the head - dude has a unique singing style, but he's overall terrible as a rapper.

He does have some solo hits that I like though, so I don't think he's terrible overall. His catalogue has to be fucking ginormous, because he's been all over the place from the early 90's until now.

btw, his most recent album - Back To The Clap, had some slappers on it. The title track is an anthem, imo.

At any rate, we know why the original poster is coming a little strong with his opinion, dudes got an album coming out thats featuring Kokane...
